Who here is ranked in socom 3 yet? Or even Socom 2 if you don\'t have it, what do you think of the game so far? Personally I feel its more addicting than most of the pc games I play regularly.

Im ranked in socom 3, and if your asking how to get ranked you have to have a credit card (but dont worry no cost) and register your account. Atfer that you have to play ranked games (it will say whether it is ranked or not in the game info) from the very start of the game til the end. After a certain amount of games your rank increases and so on until you play enough games then you get ranked based on perfomance.

Sounds like more work than its worth. I just play online to have fun.

I agree. Single player is good enough to keep you playing all the way through. I don\'t have my network adapter set up with my AOL DSL. I bought Socom 1 with the headset included and a network adapter just to play online and it didn\'t ever happen... I can\'t figure it out and When I called AOL, they sent me to Sony. Sony sent me back to AOL. It was a mess. But I\'m enjoying Socom 3\'s single player campaign for now. The vehicles and larger maps are a great addition.

Single players like a training tool for multiplayer, haha, nah actually the single players really well put together, I actually found it really non-linear in comparison to games like rainbow six and other tactical type games.

yeah playing online is the shit. socom 3 is one of the funnest games i have ever played. 32 players online, is great, there is always someone to kill.
