Incase you didnt notice everything else is several shades lighter than it should be. Look in the last picture and the peoples uniforms in the background, its pink. Not sure what country this is in, but I doubt the cleanup crew will be wearing pink outfits.

In the last picture you can see the true color of the vehicle, as no direct light is hitting it, the shadows are going left.

Post by: Paul2 on November 05, 2005, 12:23:53 AM: I think why the car looks pink have to do with inaccurate color gamut output. Maybe the camera take the picture in this color gamut, but save it in a different color gamut in photoshop and this causes the color to become wrong...

or maybe they photoshopped the hue/tint of the picture like Evi said.

IMO, I think when they edited it and save it in photoshop, they chose the wrong color gamut and hence, why the translation of the color is inaccurate.

The car in real life is red. But the pictures, they are pink in the first few pictures. Not only the car, but the people flesh tone is pinkish too, even the grass is like tweaking oversaturated green. Maybe your computer monitor show a color different than ours.

If you want, you can print out the first pic of the car and you will see its pink.
