Not yet ;)
I do valet and detail. But detail is the best because I get to drive it down the street. They dont care if I hit the gas as long as I dont peel out. 7.50 an hour. I think its a badass job straight out of high school
-
they don\'t have universities in texas?
-
7.50 in Dallas area, hope your living at home.

You really shouldn\'t assume things like that. You don\'t know everyone here personally.

I was getting paid $120 a day while working on a boat +bonuses - and I am still in highschool. :D
Thats pretty poor wages man, but with a raise it could be a sweeter job.
-
I was making 30 an hour delivering pizza a few years back. That was a fun job.
-
Who would pay a pizza delivery boy 30/hour to deliver pizza?
Were you delivering in a warzone or something?
-
Um...it was 6 dollars an hour pay. I was making 30 dollars an hour in tips. All the money comes from deliveries. It\'s a fun job. Basically driving around collecting money. You only start making this much when you learn the area well and you start delivering 4 separate deliveries at once. The n00bs start with one. You have to earn your way to more. Some of the people I worked with never got good enough to deliver more than 2.

Seriously. You can\'t do jack with 7.50 an hour, unless you work a lot of hours.

I like how you slowly added more after the initial post.
Weren\'t you putting significant miles on your car if that was your main job?
-

I was trying to word it better. :) Every time I read it, the post just didn\'t look right.

It wasn\'t too bad. I always enjoyed going to the grocery store to the CoinStar machine and emptying my ash tray, finding out there was 40 dollars in there from delivery change. :) I emptied it once a week and it always came out to about 40-60 bucks.
-
You get to keep delivery change too?
-
Not to mention some pizza places give a percent of the actual delivery.
-

If the change is part of the tip, then yes.

Yeah, I got a percentage of the delivery as well. Plus...whenever someone got an order wrong, we got to eat the pizza. :) I had pizza every day, fresh out of the oven. Good stuff.

He\'s a car driver.
And, yeah.. None of us on the board will ever be able to own a BMW.. heh....

Right...
-
Lol @ Video...
-
House > car.
I\'d gladly take a decent piece of property if it meant riding around in a 93 Sentra :D My brother has a fully loaded TSX but it\'s just another bill to pay, so he\'s struggling to save up for a house downpayment :\\
-
House > car.
That\'s for sure. Plus you make money on a house...it\'s an investment. Yay investments!
House > Apartment

You\'re a dumbass, nobody on here will own an M5.
-
You\'re psychic...and all knowing. And 80 grand for a car isn\'t that expensive.

Evi, you\'ve proved your intelligence many a time to me. Please stop talking

y not? :( One of us here has to be making a 6-fig salary. mm or ace because they\'re old as hell
-
Evi was just being evi, annoying as shit saying you don\'t own one so I said it. I\'m sure a couple of us will have the means to own one sometime. Even then though it would only be a couple of us.

Big difference between being able to afford an 80,000 purchase and being able to afford an 80,000 car with a house and family also. And since when was 80,000 not expensive for a car.

How about if you own a house and property you are about to build on?

ANother bullshit since I\'ll probably get one in about another 5 years. THat\'s my dream car. I need a mid life crisis about then.

I finally did it this year. Just barely though. But it was my first year working on my own so that\'s not so bad.
Plus the wifey works so alls good.:gman:
-
I drive M5\'s and videoholic doesn\'t
and Bozco rules
-
Evi, you\'ve proved your intelligence many a time to me. Please stop talking
I was referring to the long term of things...house...car...etc. Don\'t be a jerk...you\'ve called both me and video names. Shut up already. In fact...you commented on my post twice. That makes no sense.

Comparatively to other cars it\'s not expensive. But yes, it\'s still expensive. But if you can\'t afford a car like this in your entire lifetime of savings, you need to find a better career. Are you going to college?
I\'m sure a couple of us will have the means to own one sometime. Even then though it would only be a couple of us.
Oh...now you agree with me that there\'s a possibility that at least one of us will be able to afford a car such as this?
That doesn\'t go well with when video said that and you replied with:
You\'re a dumbass
Stop being a jerk. Nobody\'s done anything to you in this thread.
And I\'m studying to be a doctor, so somewhere down the line I believe I\'ll be able to get something like this as well. Though I\'m not a fan of BMWs...but they still look nice. However, I\'ll be looking into a house before anything else. I plan on investing in real estate in a few years. And I\'m still young, so I have a lot of things to accomplish in this life.
ANother bullshit since I\'ll probably get one in about another 5 years. THat\'s my dream car. I need a mid life crisis about then.
Are you seriously planning on getting one? That mid-life crisis thing sort of throws that comment out of whack.
-
You have sand in your vagina?
-
Just a little bit, yes.
-
I work at a sushi bar.
-
Sushi is good stuff. How much are you makin\' there?
-
Evi, just how you handle yourself in general prompted this. Not just this thread. Also, I don\'t really care what video replied with. The fact of the matter is he was just being cool posting about a car he had driven and you were a douche about it, typical you but still a douche.
-
I\'ll try and be less of a douche.
-
And I\'ll be less of a dick, deal.
-
Can I still be an asshole?
-
No.

Find me a better sports car I can put two kids in.
-
Okay, guy\'s. Calm down.
We all know Evi is a big pussy - let\'s not make him cry , okay?
;)
Will I ever afford an 80K car? Hell no! I have no desire to also. My current car was almost 30K and I thought that was way to much for something just to drive back and forth to work. Just don\'t see the appeal in spending a bunch of money on a car.
-

That\'s certainly true. :)
-
< - has two car seats in \'02 Celica GT. It is a bit crowded tho\'!
-
I think i would be happy to if i got to drive one of those to on occassion. You know i always have thought getting a job for good pay only was always overated..Last job i had before the stroke was border line pay wise but i had a blast doing it.

Are you comparing the Celica GT to the BMW M5???
Just wanted to make sure because I will call a doctor for you if you were.

Uh no, I wasn\'t.
I was simply saying any kind of non-family car is a bitch with car seats. Maybe I should of been more specfic.
-
AH.... Yeah.. Car seats suck. I\'ll only need one car seat though. Logan is almost 5. Actually by the time I can get an M5 our mystical second child will be at least 5 as well.
That reminds me. I have to check last night\'s lotto numbers;.
-
Nope. Still poor. Not even a single number. I suck.
-
Use the numbers from Lost. Just kidding. ;)
