Title: got to play Need for Speed XBOX 360 at SEMA
Post by: videoholic on November 13, 2005, 02:59:03 PM
They had 4 games up and running at the Ford booth at SEMA.  THe thing that cought my eye when playing was the speed.  It is pretty cool having such detail at high speed.

Have to add 2 things I noticed.  The power supply is almost half the size of the XBox itself.

And 2 out of the 4 weren\'t working.  Although I don\'t know why.

Is it a big improvement over the Xbox versions?

I don\'t play any games to tell you if it\'s better than blah blah, but it was damn good.  It was just extremely smooth with the best graphics I\'ve ever seen.  But then again I have a 1.3 ghz pentium 4 I don\'t play games on.

One thing I liked was the controllers had levers as buttons on the front rather than just push buttons.  Not sre if that\'s what the regular xbox has, but it was cool for a racing game to be able to push it like a gas pedal.
