Eddie Guerrero (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10029582/)
I was never a fan of his character, but to see someone die like that is truely sad. I\'m sure he was a great guy off screen, and I know wrestling is fake, but these people still put their bodies on the line.
-
(I hate wrestling)
Strange, because I saw him on TV "wrestling" only a few days ago.
Too bad really, only 38...
-
R.I.P. man.
-
Yea, thats pretty crazy. Probably the roids finally getting to him.
-
Such a shame.
What\'s WWE?
-
for some odd reason i saw STAR WARS star died..
meh...
<--- nerd.
-
Wow this just shocked me. I hadn\'t read this elsewhere.
Wow..

WWE = WWF after lawsuit with organization WWF which is some wildlife conservation group. It is truely sad I saw him wrestle a few weeks ago here when he was in Austin, he had a history of past drug addictions but had been clean, but probably a combination of supplements and the abuse his body takes in the ring ended this way.
-
Yeah, I just saw this on ESPN.com about an hour ago. Really a shock, whenever someone you\'re familiar with and have followed just suddenly dies. A really sad moment.
-
That really stinks, yes it is fake. But when i lived on the south shore i usd to go to the boston garden to see him wrestle i have always enjoyed it
-
So many wrestlers die young, it\'s a shame.
But then again so do alot of normal people.
-
^ So do a lot of bodybuilders and those supplement freaks that are in those strongman competitions. Not uncommon to see late 30s, early 40s deaths.
The human heart can only take so much, and it seems some lil philly named steroid broke it. o_0
-
My gut instinct is telling me he overdosed on some shit.
-
I\'ve always said you can never eat too much shit.
-
Nah, he didn\'t OD on anything.

That explains the extra 500lbs you carry around...
-
im sure the autopsy will reveal some interesting things
-
The weird thing was, I was sitting watching tv lastnight and some ad for a pay per view this weekend came on and he was still in the ad.
-
Autopsy came out and showed that he had a massive heart failure/attack and that they could tell his heart was very diseased. His wife went on to say that for the past week that he hadn\'t felt well and was tired alot, but didn\'t think anything of it because he just came off the road. Sad.
-
Yup... the drugs finally caught back up with him...
-
poor guy, anyone watch last nights RAW?
-
Damn drugs!
-
I blame it on being Mexican(or whatever god damn no name loser country he\'s from)
Hey Mystique and other latino members!
-
Jumpman you ever going to realize your a big jackass. Yea I\'m watching raw now its probably harder watching this then when Owen Hart died.
-
*you\'re*
-
s**t is crazy, but like someone else stated...these wrestlers are fallin like flies...mr. perfect...hawk...miss elizabeth....it\'s gotta be the steroids and drugs these guys are usin\'.... sad really....i liked eddie and his character, but alot of these guys are almost always bein found the same way.....in a hotel room o.d. on something....not sayin that\'s what happened in eddie\'s case, but that how alot of them are being found....
-
Don\'t forget Crash Holly. I can\'t even keep track who\'s alive anymore.
Didn\'t the British Bulldog die too? Rick Rude, Brian Pillman.. All too young.

-
A lot of young wrestlers have died and even after you clean yourself up from the drugs and painkillers that these people get addicted to so they can perform every night.
-
Yea you can\'t fault them for pain killers. From what I understand, taking a bump (falling to the floor) is like being hit from behind by a car at 20 mph. So imagine being hit by a car from behind at 20 mph, say, 50 times in 15 minutes and then times that by five shows a week, say, 49 weeks a year.
I might pop an aspirin or two, myself.
It\'s a pretty messed up business. WWE should just institute an off season to let their guys recoop and maybe drum up ticket sales when they do run shows.
Nah, too much money to be made...

yeah, his family lives a couple of miles away from he, in fact he was born about 2-3 miles away, so it was all over the local papers when he died.
His family tried to make out there was some conspiracy behind it all, they kept saying there was underhand shit involved.
If you ask me, he was "poppin the juice" just like the rest of them.
-
I doubt he was man from all accounts he had turned his life around, but I read that too Eik on another website.
-
Massive heart attack. He had an enlrged heart and weakened arteries, possibly as result of past drug and alcohol abuse.
Enlarged or
weakened hearts appear to be a recurring theme in the wrestling
business. Similar ailments also cut short the lives of Eddie Gilbert
(33), Brian Pillman (34), Davey Boy Smith (The British Bulldog, 39),
Rodney Anoai (Yokozuna, 34), Ray Traylor (The Big Bossman, 42), Rick
Roode (40), Terry Gordy (40), Michael Hegstrand (Road Warrior Hawk, 46),
Ray Fernandez (47), Ted Petty (Rocko Rock, 48), Gary Albright (36), and
the list goes on and on.

more than just a coincidence

R.I.P.
He was a great entertainer.
