I expect Sony to launc at the $399 mark. I would much rather pay more for better hardware then less for cutbacks and chopped ideas.


The ebay thing will only work if demand in greater then supply. If SOny pushes the lauch to 2007 which I think is going to happen, then that will give them that much more time to prepare production.

But, chances are Sony will have everyone wanting a PS3.

IMO I don\'t think they\'re going to push to 2007.    I\'m sure that like MS they want to hit the holiday market, so they will release fall or winter 2006 in North America.  If that holds true, expect demand > production and expect ebay of 1000-1200 bucks, for a good profit margin.

I have a feeling PS3 is going to sell at least $399, $299 would be a dream.  So, around $399 - $499 makes sense.

As much as I don\'t like rip-off, but I think it\'s possible to sell PS3 for $999.99 and higher on Ebay...
