Just got back from taking my mother to her Kemo treatment. I\'m happy to say she only has 2 more appointments and then this whole breast cancer ordeal will be behind her.
Today was particulary good not because of anything different but because it was a realization that this is almost over.
Her doctors are all very positive about how well everything has went over the past year and are very happy to see no new problems or cancer spreading to differnt parts of her body. They get it all on the first try and it appears these will actually be the final 2 treatments. The last being in January.
So anyways, not that this news effects any of you in any way. But it was just news I felt like sharing :)

I know how you feel (sort of)...
My Fave uncle has liver cancer that has come & gone twice...2 days before thanksgiving (which he holds at his 18th century house) he went to DC for a very specialized treatment that everyone was positive on. He seems really upbeat, even though last month he found out he has a mass on his aorta, too. they zapped both at once with a robot that senses his breathing and moves accordingly to focus on the tumors. Amazing machine.
I hope all goes well with yer mom. :)

My Uncle has a similar success with cancer, healed up completely.

that\'s good news that she\'s almost done with her treatments. I haven\'t had any cancer scares in my family, but I just got a call from a friend who\'s mom just found out she has thyroid cancer, he\'s pretty freaked out.

I haven\'t changed my email since 1996, but I did block everyone on the list. Not because I don\'t like them, but I mainly use MSM for the email notification and I got tired of talking to people everytime I log on (I\'m rarely online for more than 5-15 mins at a time nowadays, but then I\'m logging on quite frequently).
But perhaps you can get on my V.I.P. list... all you gotta do is have cyber with me.
