But CompUSA put the product on the wrong shelf. But the line (day after Thanksgiving) was so long, that by the time I got to the counter, I was not gonna return it. It was $70!!!! For a mouse! It\'s a laser mouse (not optical) so it\'s supposed to be better.
Anyway....it is....but not for $70! Jeeeeez! I do like that it will change the DPI on the fly without drivers.

Haha, that\'s what you get for thinking it\'s only $30. Noob. :D

SHUDDUP! :p The box was right on top of the price tag: $30. The actual price was much steeper.....like your forehead.

I bought a pair of shoes once that had the wrong sign under them. I complained when it rung up for twice as much. I showed them the sign and they gave them to me at that price.... and quickly took the sign down.
sounds like yours was just in the wrong place on the shelf though, mine was a printing goof
-
one time I thought this hooker said "$40" and then it turns out she said $140"...so I killed her and buried her at Letchworth State Park near the waterfall.
-
That\'s a touching story CHIZZY. :)
-
But it\'s got "Polytetrafluoroethylene".
That\'s the shit right there.
-
That mouse ranked #1 on Gamepro\'s top 10 miceseses
you win the nerd crown
-
You even bought it for list...
So I guess your time is worth more than 40 bucks for 5 minutes. Must be nice.
-
I could never bring myself to buy a mouse for that much money.

Yeah, it\'s not like you use it all the time. :)

70 bucks isn\'t a lot of money. I just like the premise. He paid more than double what he was expecting because he\'s too lazy to walk back to the mouse counter and pick up a different mouse.
Either that or just say to the cashier the price was different than what you expected and you change your mind. She\'ll take it right back.
-
my bluetooth mouse/mb was about 150$
well worth it

Well, 25 minutes in line does not equal to 5 minutes in line. But....that just me. ;) Also, there was no way she could get anyone to fetch another mouse. The place was a disaster zone of geeks and parents buying stuff for their kids who didn\'t know crap about PCs and had all the other employees locked in their noobiness.
Edit - holy shit, mm. I hope it vibrates, at least.

love my MX1000 laser goodness and if somebody tries to rob my house at night I zap them with the laser

MX1000 laser
Which was all marketing same old mouse just repacked. Besides ergonomics, weight, buttons and things like that there is nothing different in the mx1000 than in the mx510. the sensor has the same capabilities, the only difference laying in the laser the mx1000 is using, which allows tracking on known \'difficult\' surfaces for the LED. its not more accurate (as of dpi), its not faster, its not smoother. Of course Logitech marketed else wise.
Logitech is not a gamers mouse, all they do is sit and play catch up with razer not to mention copy exactly everything razer does. Still logitech cannot by copyright infringe on the razer erognomic design which any pro gamer will tell you blows logitech\'s right out of the water. The Logitech design promotes the user to place to much wrist/hand weight on the mouse thereby creating further friction on the surface and the user\'s ability to properly utilize there fast hand/wrist muscle reflexes. The mouse is supposed to be pinched when you play FPS just observe any top FPs in the world at the lan events like Johnathan Wendel (aka Fata1ity).

I would have took it back. I have a logitech mouse, it\'s a useless pile of wank.
I\'ll be browsing the net, working on something, or will be gaming, and with increasing regularity, the cursor will shoot off the screen without warning, or shoot straight down to the start button.
If I\'m browsing the net, it\'s not that big a problem as I can always drag it back. If I\'m working on something, a letter, something in PSP7, or anything like that, when it happens, it drags a big line across my work, and each time, I have to click undo.
If I\'m gaming, the cursor fucks way off the screen, and the camera goes with it, and it takes me an age to relocate it, then drag it back.
fucking useless piece of wanky shit.
It wasn\'t a cheap one either.

my logitech mx512 works flawlessly, it\'s the microsoft mouse for my laptop that give me fits like you mention
-
NVIDIA, Razer may have a gazillion dpi über quad laser system powered by a cold fusion reactor that takes no space because it resides in an hidden pocket dimension..... the fact still remains it\'s not ergonomic and doesn\'t feel good.
if there ever has been a company guilty of hyping besides BitBoys it\'s Razer.

You\'re right, I don\'t :)
Only time I use a mouse is when I\'m doing photoshop/Form-Z work. In both of those cases my 30 dollar microsoft optical mouse works just fine.

I meant 5 minutes to take it back to the mouse area.
And why would anyone wait 25 minutes in any line to pay for something? That\'s what amazon.com is for.

So instead of waiting 25 minutes you\'d rather wait a few days?
