Sorry fellas..
-
Heh, guys got a great sense of humor.
-
When you can defend someones right to say or express something that makes your blood boil, then you deserve free speech. As for the kids, at the rate they grow up these days, I doubt any kids over 10 are too worried.
-
oh no! Not the Hyundai sonata!?!?
-
that\'s just f**ked up...Sheeit if you don\'t believe in that s**t just keep it to yourself....let the kids that do believe in it enjoy it for the few years that they have in their youth...people can be such F**kin\' assholes...
-
you can say fuck and shit on here, buddy.
-

I think it\'s funny.
Then again, I hate the holidays..
And I care - cuss again, Tit..I\'ll delete every post you have done for the last five years...Don\'t push me..I\'m crazy, I live with a pregnant woman.
-
LIC dun lak Holidays coz he be Jehova\'s Witness. No boifdays, no holla days, nun dat sheeyet. It\'s the emo of religions, IMO. ;)
-
Too over the top, he should\'ve been forced to take it down right away. Doesn\'t matter what character is up there, no one wants to see an image of a person being hanged in your own neighborhood.

Bwahaha, the emo of religions... I gotta agree with you there. It must be one of the suckiest of religions.
EDIT: Although a super hot girl once came to my appartment to convert me. If only she didn\'t bring an ugly guy I\'d so let her reel me in.
-
everytime i see this thread I see, "there will be no Santana this year"...makes me happy
freakin lazy admins/mods edit the damn title!
-
It was a reference to a pinata I think.
Extremely clever but without the squiggly thing on the n.
Or it is a typo.
But it is definitely NOT Santana.
Stupid.

Hey jackass, I\'m not a "Jehova\'s Witness". Was I raised one? Yes. Am I one? No. Do I practice it? No. Therefor, I am not one. I just don\'t see the purpose in the holidays. All these damn things do is get people to spend money, go out in the cold and in general make life miserable for a few weeks. Thank you, but no thanks.
If you are goin\' to say something about me tho\', I would apperciate it if you got it right. If anything, I am an agnostic.
-
You were baptised as one. So technically speaking, I\'m correct. And you\'re a Jehova\'s Emo. ;)
-
Actually, I was never baptised as one, so techincally speaking, you are incorrect. As a Jehovah\'s Witness you pick your time to be baptised and I never did go through with that. If you are goin\' to even make a comment about a religion, at least have a clue about it from the start.
So, get your facts straight before you start this shit.
Thanks.

unfortunately there yes. Try that sh!t in any decent neighborhood though and the home owner\'s association will be on your ass to have it taken down.
in the poorer neighborhoods around here I see the illegals paint their entire house pastel blue. One is even multicolored, ugly as crap
-
Do you seriously think LIC is a Jahova\'s Witness? He\'s too cynical and too much of a sinner to be one :p
-
No, I\'m not. Jackass, just remembers me mentioning that I was raised in the religion until the age of 13, at which point, I refused to participate in it anymore.
-
I never ever belived in santa. I was the kid who told the other kids that santa was bullshit.

Uhhh... No.
They could recommend him talking it down- they could never make him take it down.
-
Uh.
Yes, a home owners association can, due to the fact certain subdivisions have rules. Same with parking / lawn height, etc.

Kindof like me and Catholocism. I followed it until I was 15 and gave it up.

Sounds like someone who has never lived in a development.
Both of my HOA\'s would make him take it down immediately.

Really?
Was you raised as one?
No? Then you have no idea about it. It has nothing to do with my "glommy , surely personality".
;)

Its more of the fact he got rejected by Samwise so many times that now he finds happiness in the bottom of a bottle constantly running around trying to pick up a vietnamese hooker names Scarlet who is 250 pounds and has 12 different STDs. Woo. I\'m too exhausted today.

LIC recommended me to her. She\'s pretty good at what she does for the price she sets.

Haha so true
This house\'s trim in my area was painted with a weird/ugly green and some neighbors complained. Wasn\'t too long later he was made to paint his house a different color.

I have one co-worker who is, two who call themselves "recovering Jehova\'s Witness". I get to hear both sides. The two former Witness tells me they are "shunned" by practicing Witness since they left.
I\'m no expert, but I know "some" things. Too bad you missed out on the 144,000 reserved heavenly seats to heaven. ;)

I will say that it is a religion that I would not promtoe for the life of me. Every religion, in my opinion, uses guilt as a form of control, but Jehovah Witnesses rely on it more than any other. My mother was raised as one and so was her mother, thankfully, my mother eventually left the religion. I left at an early age and would never go back for the life of me.
I left for various reasons tho\', not only because I questioned their beliefs, but mainly because I question the existance of a God in general.
Oh and as for being "shunned", it depends if you was bapatised or not. If you was and you break the rules, you get "disfellowshiped", which means, you are not to be spoke to by any other Witnesses and you sit in the back. Eventually, the elders (sort of like priests) will have a meeting and decide if you should be brought back in or not. This could take months or even years, and during this time, even your own mother is not suppose to eat at the same table as you. My mother has been disfellowshiped and her mother won\'t eat at the table with her. Go figure. Myself, I was never bapatised, so I couldn\'t be "shunned" or disfellowshiped.

Wow. I really did not know that about the religion. Most other relgions ususally just forgive you for doing something and you do some sort of a penance which is usually prayer (atleast Catholic) but that\'s harsh.
-
Nice post LIC. I gotta say...the two "shunned" Witnesses are the nicest happiest people I know. I guess either coz...they were put down for so long that they don\'t take a day for granted....or that\'s just their personality. The practicing Witness is always a serious person. Not saying that is the way they ALL are, just the one guy.
I remember he wouldn\'t even accept a going away present from a consultant. It wasn\'t even near the Holidays, he was leaving and wanted to give us all mementos. Had nothing to do with Holidays, birthdays or any religious observance or national custom.
EDIT - Titan, Michael Jackson\'s family is a Witness. :)
Edit 2 - spelled memento wrong. So skroo yu, spekking nazis.

What does it have to do wtih my post though? I\'m so confused :(
There was a manager in training where I worked who was a witness. I didn\'t think he was because he was really chill, didn\'t give a shit about anything we did in the store and just overall a great guy. He wasn\'t the one I thought of who are serious and pass out literature. Can\'t judge a book by its cover I guess. Its just that every Jahova\'s Witness that I encountered tried to convert me. Eh, whatever makes them happy.
