Title: Love simcity (classic) with it\'s classic donut layout (for perfection)?

Now you can play online for free! (http://simcity.ea.com/play/simcity_classic.php) .  Brought to you by EA, an online version of the classic game.  You have to register, but no biggie.  If you haven\'t played the original, play it now.

Remember, to dominate, build in a classic 3x3 grid, with the center for \'special\' blocks (ie, police, fire, etc).   Surround the 3x3 grids with streets.

man I used to wear simcity out on my SNES.  Then SimCity 2000 on PC with my mighty 486dx2.  

SimCity 4 just didn\'t have the same draw to keep me playing for some reason :(

It got too complex.  Brought in micro-management, too many different structures...

The simplicity of the original simcity is what made it so much fun.

I played SimCity 2000 on and off for a while. It was/is still a good game. I also had SimFarm and thought it was fun as well.

I always thought they tried to spread it too thin when they tried to branch out into other things.

Sim farm, sim earth, sim ant, sim orgy, sim circumcision, it just got too commercial.

I think I\'m already registered there, due to having sim city 4, so if I can remember my password, I\'ll give it a pop.

I thought SC3KG was the apex of the series to date. Basically a souped up 2000..

classic..build up a town just to throw armageddon on it.

my brother was crazy into it..had all futuristic skyscrapers and stuff.

they didnt care about canada..

i thought sim farm was pretty awesome..then again i was really young and was the only one i could really figure out..giving hay to animals..
