Title: Tell me what to buy.

Tell me what to get.

Keep it to stealth, Role Playing, Action, Sim or FPS please.

Right now I am finishing up F.E.A.R. and I\'ll need a new game.

Post by: JBean on December 29, 2005, 07:10:40 PM: I might be the only one here that still plays it, but BF2 still has me hooked. It\'s only worth getting if you are gonna play it online though. It\'s a FPS (you probably already knew that).

I imagine you\'ve already played Thief 3? It\'s been out for a while, but it seemed fun the short time I played it.

Call of Duty 2 is also pretty nice for a FPS, and will definately tax that new card you got :)

Feel like a RPG, Get gothic II gold if you\'ve never played gothic series its a great open rpg.

FPS COD2 as Jbean said is a great single player game. BF2 for MP.

Fighters, even though not pc go tekken 5 or Fight Night round 2 on ps2. Wait a few months and FN round 3 will be out.

Post by: Viper_Fujax on December 30, 2005, 12:16:37 PM: Im thinking of bying COD2 myself. I tried the demo from fileplanet and its awesome. I wish i could play BF2 but my damn connection just wont let me. I can but it gets choppy as hell (it runs perfectly in SP, so its completely connection).

Splinter Cell: Chaos theory is very good. I went on a spree of getting back into the series and CT is easily the best. I was actually lost in the second mission, lol..so they took out the linear gameplay of the first 2. And the graphics are really nice.

Quake 4\'s demo was pretty fun, but im not paying 50 bucks for it.

Rainbow Six is coming out with a new one..skeptical of it since UBI completely went down the shitter.

How is F.E.A.R anyway? i was never able to install the demo correctly.

And is brothers in arms better than COD2? I was kind of tired of the WWII gaming after the first few medal of honor\'s and other WWII games that came out, so i dismissed every WWII game for 5 years or whenever it was.

Viper, FEAR was pretty good... Very creepy. mm is right though. It\'s a little too much of the same thing for 11 levels.

I guess Quake 4 it is.

Where is it for 20 bucks? iv seen 40 at gamestop and EB, and 50 at best buy.

I saw a European site with it for 16 Euro\'s..think thats like 20 dollars..but with shipping itll be more. Plus id have to use my atm card since i dont have a credit card. Not sure if it works or not.

Still playing WoW and getting my third character to 60. Been playing my 60 mage mostly got him up to rank 12 in PvP and then quit.

my new 2x1GB G.Skill ddr500 was giving me errors in memtest, but hasn\'t crashed my system once. I found the culprit though, the auto memory setting in my BIOS weren\'t right. Had to manually set them.

I have 5 more packages in the mail right now.. 2 from newegg and 3 from zipzoomfly. What started out as a minor upgrade is turning into a complete overhaul for me :)

Might even grab another 7800gt or something. Gonna have lots to do getting my system as quiet as possible, this opteron gets pretty warm.
