Title: CD drive opens automatically when I switch my PC on.

Ever since I got this computer, some 18 months or so ago, the CD drive automatically opens when I switch the computer on.

At first, it did it randomly, sometimes it opened, other times it didn\'t.

Now, it seems to be doing it all the time.

How do I stop it from doing it?

try firmware update for that particular drive. should be dl-able from manufacturer\'s website.

maybe CD drive have a mind of it\'s own and want to go play by itself.

Man I haven\'t turned my computer off in years.
