I always see the commercial and think..how the fack do they do it..but im never by the computer to see if anyone knows.
The one where michael jordan makes the basket to beat the jazz..and they make it look like he misses, jordans reaction is the opposite of what it was in real life, the crowd is jumping around and stuff. Then the A\'s/Yankees and the niners catch from joe montana that everyones seen, but those arent as detailed as the jordan one. But even in the 49ers one i can see the people in the stands are reacting as if it were a missed pass.
The screen looks all shaky and weird in the fake ones but they look real. Just curious if anyone knows how they do it..on computers?

magic, they hired a staff of gnomes
-
they very likely hired a lot of people to play as audiences...I couldn\'t see what could be hard about that though...hiring a lot of people...
-
But you\'d have to hire people who looked exactly like the people in the original crowd.
:stick:
:gives:

i give a fuck

What about computer graphics or something? Or what about if they used the reactions of the people from other parts of the game and used that? I dunno. I never saw the Gatorade commercials he\'s talking about.
-
Its all one commercial, they also did one with the old Jordan, versus young Jordan a couple years back. They do it with computer graphics. All they would have to do is take a clip from Jordan doing that in a game take it out and put it in.

Is it something similar to this:

BK sorta has the same thing except they replace a football figure from old video footage with that dumb smiling king
-
Didn\'t the movie Forrest Gump have something like that? They took actual video footage from the time and added him in, right?
-
The jordan one was fairly simple. They rotoscoped the ball to make it miss and then the pan to the left they could have just used one of many other of Jordan\'s reactions from that same game.
THe Clark miss they probably just reshot a new ref and composited him in.
They were very short clips.
