My brother is now stateside. He had been serving in Fallujah, Iraq in the Marines.
Just thought I would share the good news. :D
Anyone else have relatives serving overseas?
-
Glad to hear it :)
-
Happy for you my fiance\'s Dad\'s over ther right now.
-
good news indeed....is he here for good?
-
We aren\'t sure yet.
He was actually talking about the possibliity of opening up his own shop. I hope he does that instead of serving again, but either way I support him, and am proud.
/When he called he was going to a Steakhouse to mow down. He hasn\'t had real food in years. :p

did he bag him any towelheads?

You mean resigning from the army?He should go for it and leave the army behind man! There are plenty of jobs he can work at, right?
What does someone have to do in order to resign over there?I know that you cant just resign.
-
Serve your time, you signed up for. If he done that - he should be able to leave without any problems.
-
congrats.

If he stays in for 20 years (I think) he gets a nice pentent. Plus, the longer he serves, the better it looks on his job resume.

Don\'t be so immature and we might come to a compromise.
