Lately I’ve been having odd sleeping patterns. Will sleep only every 2 days. I can\'t understand it. I lay there staring at my ceiling and i just can\'t fall asleep.  
I\'m not stressed, nor have any problems like depression or anxiety.  It\'s just a really odd thing. I\'ve cut back my caffeine intake to only 1 caffeine item every 2 days.    Anyone else had a problem like this?  what did u do about it?

Try a glass of warm milk? I tried that once. I ended up with a burnt tongue which irritated me and kept me up all night anyway.

Working out will put you to sleep. Plus its good for you.

Talk to your doctor about it, if you need it he will give you a sleeping prescription.

How old are you? I find I sleep more irregularly since I turned 27... Didn\'t you recently start a new course of study or something? Stress will do that, even if you don\'t feel stressed...try masturbating, that\'s what I did @ 4:00 this AM to get back to sleep.... works like a charm.

Heh,

if i have ever had a bio rythm, it has and probably always will be pretty f\'d up.

As of lately i sleep more i guess. Maybe it\'s becuz of the cold weather here.

In the winter I find myself sleeping too much. In the summer I find myself always sleep deprived.

This lack of sunlight gets to my head.

Before the kids, I slept on the average, 12 hours a night.

With the kids, I average a total of five hours in a 24 hour period.

Well good cause 12 hours is ridiculous.

I sleep about 6-8 hours a night when I\'m not stressed.

2-3 when I am.

I am stressed quite a lot though.

True.

Every once and a while I sleep for a 12hr period. Afterwards you feel like you could take on the world, all refreshed like.

True that. But I\'m not sure my room mate would appreciate me doing that with him in the room. I heard that when you masterbate, after you finish, your body lets out a natural sleep hormone or something like that. I dunno. I\'m no biology major.

stressing out your body will help you naturally fall asleep.  After I hit the shower and get into my sheets I feel so relaxed.

Working out actually energizes me. I hit the gym when I\'m tired from studying... so I can go back to studying afterwards.
