I want to create an Excel document where I can specify a date range ex. Monday 16, 2006 - Sunday 22, 2006 and have Excel return the dates in selected cells.
A good scenario would be a timesheet.
EXAMPLE:
--------------------------------------------------
Enter date range:
Monday 16, 2006 - Sunday 22, 2006
And then in the cells of my choice Excel would return the following:
Monday 16, January 2006
Tuesday 17, January 2006
Wednesday January 18, 2006
Thursday January 19, 2006
Friday January 20, 2006
Saturday January 21, 2006
Sunday January 22, 2006
--------------------------------------------------
I have tried EDIT | FILL | SERIES...
as well as
=TREND({"1/16/06";"1/22/06"}+0,{1;20},ROW(1:20))

You cannot possibly expect help here with your work until you make some gay jokes or penis jokes. Or some gay penis jokes.

It was an honest question in the appropriate forum. If you didn’t want to contribute a suggestion, you didn’t have to read it.

It\'s just Chizz, have you tried google?

I have been browsing Google, but nothing other than the suggestions that I posted above

there is a date function somewhere.
if you cant find that just use microsoft help... type in the question tab something like... "how to do consecutive dates"
-
sorry, mom.
-
It\'s really very simple. You just tell it the cells are dates, enter the first date and use formulas for the rest.
I can get Logan to make a template for you.

Well she came up with the same thing as Vid was basically saying be sure to change the file ext to .xls
