Since I got my new setup, I\'ve been thinking about getting me a piece of Xbox360 as well. Anyone of you bishes own one? And how do you like it?

Three of my friends own it so I\'m around it all the time. I absolutely love how live is setup with live arcade and the ease of downloading demos. Geometry wars is amazing though I watch my friend play more often than I get to. The downside though is the library is a little stale after playing the big launch games. Condemned and COD2 were great but theres nothing new out. PD0 was shitty, atleast IMO which is a big letdown.

I like it but the games are too expensive. I have like 4 or 5 games and really got into a couple of them, but I haven\'t played it in a while. I\'ve been using it as a DVD player and later today I hope to find out that it can play my ten dollar copy of Fable that I picked up.
I\'d say, you\'ll like it if you have access for Xbox Live. Otherwise, wait for better games and hopefully the used ones will start to drop in price so it\'s not so hard to make a decent collection.
King Kong was my favorite so far. I played through Kameo, though it was all right. Condemned was fun but I just realized I kinda stopped playing. Maybe I\'ll start that again. Tony Hawk was terrible. If you like that series you might have better luck than me.
I think that\'s it. The online stuff is fun, I downloaded some videos and Xbox Live arcade games...
Bottomline, it\'s good, but way over priced.
Oh, and I have PD0 which was fun for a while, short and offers a fun multiplayer mode online.

I have one...i haven\'t explored too many titles...but here\'s what I\'ve gathered.
Madden 360: Horrible. Running the ball is too easy...passing is quirky...and they stripped the features down to bare bones.
Perfect Dark Zero: GREAT multiplayer. The single player compaign is slightly above average...with some really great maps...but some less than mediocre ones as well.
Condemned: If you like horror games...this should be considered the ultimate rental. It\'s relatively short...but it\'s a blast all the way through. Especially if you have the right setup (HD tv...surround sound). Playing in the dark is the only way to go. Unfortunately, there\'s not much motivation to replay it once you\'re done.

Geometry wars, as everyone is saying, is amazing. I have spent quite a bit of time playing that. My favorite game, other than that, would be Call of Duty. I\'ve had a lot of fun with the multiplayer side of that.
Perfect Dark Zero sucked. The single player sucked, and the multiplayer was worse.
That being said, my roommate is the one who bought the 360. I\'m not sure I would have bought one myself, but it\'s been fairly fun to have around.

How would you go about buying one anyway? Are the supply problems solved? I\'ve still never seen one in a store, or found an online retailer that has them in stock.

Anyway I don\'t have one. And I was going to wait and put my money down on ps3. I don\'t really think I need one. I have not been excited about it since it launched. I have not even touched the thing when I see in stores.
I saw the trailer for fight night and that looks awesome. The game selection looks real wack. And my buddy has a ps2 so I guess I will go back to playing that. Who knows if some decent games come out I will get a 360.

IMO, wait until:
- a really good game or killer app comes out (ie- Halo 3)
- price drops
- problems have been fixed
- ps3 comes out :)
You can always hook your PC up to your HDTV to enjoy those HD gaming resolutions.

I\'m pretty sure I\'ll get one. But it\'ll probably be in March at least - hopefully MS will have fixed the worst problems by then. Otherwise I\'ll have to put my faith in the warrenty.
