Title: I switched sides : from Nvidia to Ati

Ahhum...December 9th i ordered new pc hardware which included a XFX 7800GTX 512 xxx videocard. Well, the retailer indicated the card will be vaporware for at least another month ; i need a good gamepc  / 3D workstation very much pronto.

Fortunately, the retailer gets the Asus X1900XTX in stock this week. So, this will be my very first Ati card. The reviews are looking mighty fine i see.

To celibrate this, I made an appropiate new avatar pic.

512 GTX\'s are widely available

find a retailer that has the 512 version in stock mm, cause there aren\'t any.  It\'s been like this for months

Congrats, it\'s an awesome card, although EXPENSIVE. But cool. :)

Well, Icomputers is one of XFX\'s first in line retailers ; it even says so on the XFX (europe) website.  

I\'m happy with the decision though becuz the X1900XTX is actually cheaper than the GTX 512 over here and the retailer is willing to give me back the price difference.

Also, the reviews on the net shows, the card reigns supreme in the games i like.
