Title: 360 games don\'t require HDD. Took them 3 months.

The gist?

After promising no games would require a HDD for play (for the obvious reason that they sold systems without), it took less than 100 days for the promise to be broken.  FFXI demo required a HDD, but it was a demo.  However, a new Sega game will require the HDD too.

Note the new graphic, bottom.

I knew it was a bad idea to split the user-base.

The "Core" packages are like this generation\'s "original Xbox controller"...

Haha. I can see this the new trend. A lot of the 360 games will probably require the HDD and now they will either a) screw the Core system users or b) offer the HDD for sale for like 100+ dollars to where they could have saved money by buying the Premium console.

Titan calls it (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000B6ML32/102-7117775-5528144?v=glance)

360 HDD = $99.99 USD.

If I were a core system buyer, I would be very, very pissed.

Oh yeah! Bow down before me and my greatness

MS is gonna piss off a lot of customers doing this.

The HDD has been priced at $100 since launch.

It, along with every other 360 accessory and software, is a rip off.

I could care very little about the whole MS sucks and Sony will blow them away etc. Anyway, I decided after seeing Fight Night I wanted a 360 and it wasn\'t easy to find. Core systems out there seem to be pretty easy to find in the past couple of days. I picked up a core system at Target yesterday and I opened a credit line with them that got me a 10% discount. So I ended up getting a wireless controller too. I can\'t find the HD anywhere at the moment but when I do I will have paid about $13.00 dollars more than a premium. I don\'t really care about live or the headset at this time so I don\'t feel cheated.

By the way, the system is pretty cool and PGR and Fight Night look great on my HDTV.

Not sure why I posted this other than I\'m bored.

I tried out Fight Night quick on a demo yesterday. Is it sluggish or do I just suck at it?

I\'m relatively new to Fight Night, and only played like half a round at the store.

It did look hot though, I have a coupon to Best Buy so I\'ll get it there. I agree about the look of it on a nice tv.

It can feel that way at the start but once you get used to it\'s pretty damn slick.
