huh? Was that ever in the comics?

i only watched the cartoon and the only time spiderman was black was when he was like venom..but still spiderman

What I meant is...

The picture is obviously a filter being applied, but Sony is saying that in the picture Spider-Man is donning a black suit. They have not came out and confirmed it to be the "alien", but just a "black suit".

Years ago I bought a spiderman comic in which Spidey was wearing a black suit at the beginning.But for some reason his suit felt weird on him(Venom?) and so he took it back to someone who had his original suit and gave it to him.

In that comic he faced Wolverine.Too bad I lost it

Edit just looked it up. suit was issue 252 venom was 300.

Venom is an airforce dude that went to space and got infected by a virus. Came down, got huge, killed everything.

Spiderman at one time had the same thing as venom, so he had the costume thing of venom but the size of spiderman.

BUT, the picture here is just spiderman in a black version of his suit (which iv never heard of)
