WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing against the gays, but I was so tired of hearing the fucking press blah blah blah about this "great" movie.

They didn\'t win jack shit.. WOOHOOO!!!!!

Seemed like all who won I agreed with. Although I really like Paul Giamati......

And Crash was a great movie, not just because of the issues it addressed. Hell, Brokeback Mountain rode the issues it dealt with a lot further than Crash did.

Credit is due, but plain and simple it was outdone by Crash, which the editing alone I believe was the reason it won.

even though thats true, it brings up just as many jokes. Like the budweiser commercials with the 2 cowboys and the animals playing football er whatever they do every year, and this year i laughed at it, because there were 2 cowboys.

Post by: Coredweller on March 05, 2006, 09:37:45 PM: I saw Brokeback Mountain, and I thought it was great. Of the nominees, I thought it was the best and should have won best picture. However, I liked Walk The Line better, and I thought that film should have been nominated and should have won instead.

Actually all the best picture nominees this year were pretty good. I saw all of them. This was a pretty good year for independent, anti-mass market films.

It\'s a different genre. I enjoy non-horror movies, but I also don\'t gush over crap just because it\'s considered "great". Let\'s face it, if you take Brokeback Mountain and take away the gay aspect, it\'s nothing more than a standard love film. Nothing more. As for Walk the Line, I\'m biased, because I can\'t friggin stand Johnny Cash.

Crash however was totally interesting all the way through, and i\'m the kind of person who cannot stand Rap or Hip Hop but I thought Ludicris did an extremely good job.

as of now, I really want to see Capote most of all.

and once again, I can\'t say enough good things about Crash. Really enjoyed that movie.

It\'s strange how the director presents to you how people are at face value and they perpetuate it...but due to circumstances beyond their control, they go against their usual personality.

It\'s like people aren\'t inherently evil....well, there\'s hope that people aren\'t.

I think another reason why I enjoyed it so much was because at the time of my watching it. I had not been immersed in constant "Crash" buzz, so I think I can relate in the sense that it was new to me aswell.
