I made this a sticky...figured it was worthy.

This button (https://psx5central.com/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.psx2central.com%2Fforums%2Fimages%2Fstatusicon%2Fuser_online.gif&hash=7a8d7756ae9675d0a0f3131dab11a048dd1d3a9f) needs to be fixed, as well as a few obvious ones throughout the boards.

I\'m referring to the fact that it\'s not designed for a dark background. It still has white color pixelation around the edges.

I don\'t care about these three on the front, but they stand out more.

I don\'t understand why they do this because when I opened some of them up in Photoshop, they have transparent backgrounds.

Yeah...you can can set your browser not to underline hyperlinks.

I don\'t think you should take the functionality of it off though since that\'s where the PM feature is now. I don\'t have a problem with the underline, personally.

Let\'s try this again:

1) Some members seem to be having problems with the search function. It doesn\'t seem to be searching through older threads. Only ones that have been posted in after the switch to the new VB. Is there any way to add the entire database to the search? I noticed when I searched for PS3 and PlayStation 3 that only a few threads popped up. And they were from the ones people posted in the past few days.

Evis,

I guess you need to extend the length of time you want to search on older topics on the search function.

Go for it :thumb:

You can change it by clicking the link button when you click "Post Reply". I\'ll tell you how to do it htough. I\'m gonna use { brackets instead of [ becuase if I use [ it will think its a real link. What you do is it {url="http://www.samwisetakesituptheass.com"}This would be the text{/url} Just remember that instead of using {url} you would use this bracket around it [ ]. Got it? Good :running:

but that is inconvenient than just copy and paste the link, and just add the text on the next box afterward...

The method that you just explain, I tried that yesterday to link to Kopking\'s birthday thread and that\'s why I thought it was a bit inconvenient compare to the previous method where you can just easily add the text on the next box after you paste the link on the first box.

This version of vBulletin is different, the easiest way with this version is to type what you want your hyperlink to say e.g Yay paul2\'s here!!! (http://www.psx2central.com/forums/member.php?u=4251). Then just highlight that text with the mouse and click on insert link button (one with globe) and paste in the link when the window opens.

That\'s the method I used when I add text to link kopking\'s birthday thread.  And it\'s true that is it not hard, it is still easy.  But the previous method is more convenient in my opinion.

yea that happened to me last night..i logged in under the main forum, back out of it, and it was as if i had logged out.....or it could be that this site is racist against afri. americans and..asians ;)...one other minor concern,...i don\'t see the "home" tag that used to be on the main page....i usually would hit that to see what new posts were formed..now that option is gone,.... or is there another way to update without that "home" option?...

The new forum is fine, our members are not. We have one who didn\'t realize you could have text for a URL and another who didn\'t realize that you could have pop-ups or e-mails sent to you when you get a PM.
