Me and the wife will be going to Europe next year. We\'re planning on a whole month of travelling. Sorry, UK, you guys drive on the wrong side of the road so we\'re skipping your lil island.

Nurburgring is one of our plans. :D

A couple months ago I was looking into taking a trip to Germany and renting a car for a few laps on the Nurburgring.  It\'s not hard to find a rental of a german performance car like a Boxster, a Z4, or some larger BMW.  However, it\'s a bit harder to find imports as rentals.  If you\'re interested, I can send you some links to the rental agencies I found.

My wife and i went to italy three years ago and man it was awesome, think our favorite city was venice. Man awesome place venice make sure you take a gondola ride definitely worth the money

Looks very clean, and the city is both bigger & smaller than I thought.  I knew the Eiffel Tower was a bit on the small side but wow.  The rest of the city looks monstrous though, very beautiful.

How were the locals btw?  Were they as annoying as Americans? :]

I didn\'t get to speak to too many locals, but the ones we did talk with seemed nice (except one guy, but he was a busy waiter, heh).

My parents went to France a few years ago and they were pleasently surprised about the lack of arrogance on part of the French.

The Eiffel tower was actually pretty high when you were at the top. From the bottom is doesn\'t seem so tall.

EDIT: From Wikipedia:

The tower stands 300 m (986 feet) high, which is about 75 stories. Including the 24 m (72 feet) antenna, the structure is 324 m (1058 feet) high.
