Post by: Unicron! on March 21, 2006, 12:07:58 PM: A long time ago someone suggested a very very valuable site full of old PC games to download like Jazz Jackrabbit, the original Duke Nukem etc.

I forgot which was the site.

Can someone repost the site?

Anyway I searched for abandonware and found what I was looking for thanks to LIC

Post by: Wargod on April 02, 2006, 08:16:39 PM: Underdogs and sites like abandonia aren\'t illegal. They aren\'t piracy either. Same reasons mame roms are legal. It\'s sort of like public domain now because no comapny owns the liscense to distribute the software anymore.

Have you ever seen those 99cent dvds at places like target? Those are actually public domain...
