at 2ch, a Japanese forum not unlike our own, there is a rumor going around that
at the April 6th conference in Japan, these games will be announced or shown:
a new Chrono game
New Sekien Densetsu (Mana game)
New Lufia
New Level 5 MMO game (could be TFLO again?)
Heavy Nightmare
Fantasy something or other.
hmm, if these games come out, 360 might receive some sort of viability in Japan, after all.
-
Is square enix going to develp for 360 (I\'m assuming they still have the rights to the chrono/mana series)? I could potentially see them landing on say, the revolution (seeing as children of mana was posted by IGN as a NDS title), but not the 360.
-
these are heavily unconfirmed and most likely fake, but would be interesting if MS got even 2 of these on their system, it would mean for some sort of success
-
Definitely would help them with the japanese sales but I can\'t really see even two of those titles coming out on the 360 in the near future. TFLO was in development for how long? Fantasy something or other is way too vague and I\'m assuming heavy nightmare is a new series? I\'ve never heard of it. But hey, if they can do it, more power to them.

Where\'s Shenmue???
-
In my dreams. :(
Why, why, why, can\'t I get what I want?
-
in the closet
-
I was dreaming a next gen Nights, Clockwork Knight, Panzer Dragoon and Daytona USA or Sega Rally on the X360...maybe I\'ll keep dreaming...
-
Now you\'re talking. Panzer Dragoon could happen, that was a game for the original Xbox.
If Sega wanted to get back on track, they\'d pump out just those exact sequels.
And maybe a Virtua Cop for Revolution. ;]

Well, I forgot Virtua Fighter 5 !!! ;)
-
fighting games + rev controller = lame
no really, punch yourself in the face instead
-
The remote fits into a shell that makes it a standard controller. It might still suck, but it\'ll have a better chance at, ya know, not sucking.

-
well, with a standard controller VF5 would consume my soul
but i give any grown man one or two sessions using the remote like a boxing glove before he feels like a complete jackass
everytime i go to dave and busters they have two of those boxing arcade games in the corner where you put "gloves" on your hands and punch in 3D. i only see kids or drunk chicks playing it.
all the dudes are crowded around the DDR machines for some gay reason or another.
-
I am agreeing so hardcore with mm right now.
This is bizarro land.
Though, I still look forward to the revolution for its inevitable awesome niche games.
-
Not me. I would totally love a Revolution Punch Out.
Since Lil Mac is stationary you could control his jabs, body blows, uppercuts, blocking and dodging by holding two remotes and never pressing a button.

still sounds hokey to me, and not something that should ever become a gaming trend.
the \'track and field\' franchise died for a reason

not on the rev, on the X360 :) ...I was referring to Sega games on the X...
-
well, i wouldnt be suprised if sega becomes exclusive to nintendo
-
it certainly is starting to look that way
it\'s a shame that they pretty much destroyed all their franchises and refuse to continue the decent ones
-
and i said
hheeeeeeeyyyyeeeaaaaaaaaaaayeaaaaa
whats going on

the \'track and field\' franchise died for a reason
unfortunately imo. The technology wasn\'t there to make it interesting enough.
It would be nice to get America\'s youth into some kind of shape.
-
by playing video games?
hand them a soccer ball, and a kick in the ass if they won\'t use it
-
keep calling them fat
nothing like peer encouragement
-
it\'s not thier fault.
the parents hand them mcdonald\'s and dump them in front of the TV while they mishandle the stress of thier own lives.
