I got my ticket! (http://www.bonnaroo.com/2006/)
A little while ago, actually... of course, had to, to see Radiohead on their only North America stop this year. 3 days of camping and music, with lots of great bands (Radiohead, Tom Petty, Oysterhead, Cypress Hill, Ben Folds, Sonic Youth, just to name a few). It\'s going to be a helluva drive for me and my 2 Canadian buddies going down to Tennessee by car, we figure 15-18 hours total, but utterly worth it, I hope.

radiowho?
-
I can\'t justify the cost. I\'d go in a heartbeat if it didn\'t cost so damn much.
-
radiowho?
Thanks, now I have that I\'m a Creep song stuck in my head.
I wish I were special...so fucking special...*CRUNCHA CRUNCHA*...but I\'m a creep....
-
Yikes, those tickets are expensive as hell.
-
Not as expensive as my pedestrian seats for Paul McCartney last year. $225/seat.
Bonnaroo would be worth going to if I cared about more than 3 or 4 (RH, TP, Beck) of the artists.
-
When I bought our tix a little while about they were about 15% cheaper than now, and as I understand they\'re going to go up again in a few weeks.... but remember, it\'s THREE days with camping too.
-
I know that.
I also know that only a fraction of one of those days is worth my time!
-
Thats the price for the ticket. Thinks back to woodstock disaster....
-
Luckily this is an established venue... been around for a few years, check out the past years (and pics) by changing the year on the main page
*EDIT*
My bad, you must click archives... check out the crowds, booyeah!
-
I wasn\'t really talking about the riots but the cause of the riots...aka insanely high pricing of everything. (yeah yeah, I know it was also because the youth of today is violent and all the crap.)
My friend is going to it. I envy him. I do not envy him paying 200 dollars a ticket.

They\'ve promised free access to \'essential\' facilities, and \'reasonable\' prices from various vendors for food and items. Of course, reasonable being a subjective label, I (like most others I\'m sure) plan to make this a true camping trip, and pack in everything I need, and then pack it all out too (and by pack I mean drive). I might spend some cash on a shirt or CDs, but food, water, etc.... no way.
