well at least it is for me,..and maybe i\'m alone in thinking this but here it goes...now before i moved to ga. i used to watch the mega millions results live on tv..which was abc(ny)..now at the time a newscaster from channel 7 news would sometimes present the live numbers,...now fast forward-..i\'m living in georgia and now a different person from channel 2 news in ga is presenting the live numbers...:confused:..my diliema is how can both of these people be presenting the same numbers in two different states?...let alone the other states that are also involved..va, ca. ?
and i\'m sure that those states have different people presenting those balls at the same time as well,...and if that is the case, how can these machines put out the same numbers that are being portrayed live in other states?...it seems impossible for it to be one machine since for each state there seems to be a different person doing it....hopefully i haven\'t confused anybody with this...thoughts?

We kind of have to take ur word that 2 people are pulling out the same numbers in two different states, so that\'s a little tough.
but maybe one guy does it in Atl., then the guys in georgia rig it to get the same numbers, but they keep the broadcaster that works in the area just to make it more..homey
or....ill just go ahead and say it..ITS A DAMN CONSPIRACY!

According to the Mega Millions website, the drawing is conducted at 11pm EST, on Tuesday & Friday nights by the Georgia Lottery in Atlanta. Maybe the drawing you were seeing NY was for a smaller state lottery. That\'s what we have in California. We can buy separate tickets for either the California Lottery, or the Mega Millions, and the drawings are held on different nights.

Yeah, isn\'t the Mega Millions multi-state? I dunno. I\'m amazed I don\'t pay a lot for the lottery. I do all other bad habits except gambling. Hmm....

exactly...i\'m sure when i was in jersey they ran the numbers shortly before 11:00 pm...and now that i\'am in georgia, it still runs a little before 11:00 pm,..but like i stated before it\'s performed by a different person that did the ny area...i think several states share this lottery, yet how can all respective states produce these numbers all at the same time?..titan..you\'re in jersey...and the mega millions drawing will be t\'morrow(friday) shortly b\'fore 11:00 pm..on channel 7(abc) in your neck of the woods...if you see it,..you will see that the person will produce these numbers live.... at the same time, the newscaster from channel 2 news in georgia will produce these same numbers...:confused:

I haven\'t seen this particular draw... usually they don\'t handle the balls, it\'s all a machine. Perhaps this is blue-screen stuff, like the weatherman.

You didn\'t understand my post. There is ONLY ONE Mega Millions drawing, and it\'s done in Atlanta GA. The other participating states run the same drawing broadcast from Georgia. I think the drawing you\'re remembering from New York/ NJ was a DIFFERENT lottery. Maybe it was the NY or NJ state lottery, which has a different drawing, and probably a different host for the live broadcast.
Either that, or the host of the Georgia Mega Millions drawing changed around the same time that you moved.

You didn\'t understand my post. There is ONLY ONE Mega Millions drawing, and it\'s done in Atlanta GA. The other participating states run the same drawing broadcast from Georgia. I think the drawing you\'re remembering from New York/ NJ was a DIFFERENT lottery. Maybe it was the NY or NJ state lottery, which has a different drawing, and probably a different host for the live broadcast.

off the top of my head i know ny, nj, ga, va, ct, and as a matter of fact core..ca. just recently became added to the lottery...it could be that there is some sort of blue screen thing goin on. *which might explain it being seen in multiple states*...but i seriously doubt it. everytime i\'ve seen it, there was no weird outline of the person doing the drawing.
i know jersey & ny has their own local lottery, but i\'m positive that the states listed above share this mega millions...heh i don\'t want to start to sound like i\'m gettin\' obsessed (spel) with this, as it really isn\'t that big a deal,...if it ultimately turns out that this is just some big scam states use to generate revenue,..i won\'t be suprised....heh if you\'re not doin anything around 7:50 pm your time t\'morrow core, you can check this out for yourself and see if they are using some type of blue screen like fatal mentioned....meh ultimately it\'s not relatively important on any scale..it was just something i noticed...

Clips, maybe they just changed people along the same time you moved. What you need to do is call up a friend in NY when the drawing occurs and compare.

you\'re sayin that like i need some closure or some s**t...:mad:...:p....no need to compare as Yolando Vega is the same person that did it in jersey...and if she is still producin\' the numbers then it\'s definitely two people doin it,...could be more if you throw in the other states,...only thing i can come up with is that as soon as the numbers\' are released,...this info is automatically transferred to the other sharing states,...but then i guess you would definitely have to see that blue screen thingy suggesting that what the other states are seeing was actually pre-recorded a minute earlier...damn maybe i do need closure after all..:(........
