i dont know why, but i thought this was hilarious...
http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/05/11/wheelchair.runner.reut/index.html
spark notes: woman accused of fraud for sueing for injuries that happened while trying to access places with her wheelchair tried to outrun the police. but the article says it in a funnier, subtle way.

That\'s awesome... talk about getting what\'s coming to your. Poetic justice. Karma.
She probably knew she wouldn\'t pass the prosecutor\'s medical examination....

Thats a shame to the people who are really disabled. I see it all the time, if i go into a store with my wife sometimes, people look at me like im a bug or something.

I know what you mean. People can be so judgemental and stupid.

i dunno. that might be a case of paranoia..like "im in a wheelchair and someone looked..they must be thinking im a bug".
Like i was walking to class and went around a corner and a dude in a wheelchair was right there so i made eye contact out of a natural reaction and i thought to myself "he must think im a dick who thinks hes a bug"..
if that makes sense...

Yes, it does make sense. I mean i dont have a handi capp parking permit yet but i have seen, people steal the parking spots and call the person who is disabled a liar, and to just knock it off,. I get so mad i want to hammer that person into the ground with my cane.
