Well after a few unsucessful attempts at my local EB Games, Gamestop, and Toys R Us, I found a hit.  

My local FYE is pre-ordering PS3s.  My 60GB PS3 is coming on the 3rd shipment.

I\'m just gonna walk into Best Buy at 12PM on launch day and hope to pick up 5.

There\'s only going to be like 500,000 at launch per region.

I\'m waiting for the local EB. If they don\'t do it i\'ll take my chances. It\'ll be a matter of a weeks, like the 360, that\'ll I\'ll walk into a store and find one.

Supposedly major retailers are going to wait until October to take pre-orders.  I guess they\'re a little wary after the 360 fiasco.
