OK, this has driven me crazy since the first season.
Last week they showed how close the votes were. Each having 33% of the votes.
This is the stupidest thing ever.
Say the phone company has 100 lines for each contestant that stay busy constantly for 2 hours.
Well no shit it\'s going to be close.
Everything after the top 5 is a complete joke because the lines are maxed out.
You could have a huge jug of water and a small jug of water, but if they both go through the same tiny funnel you will have the same amount of water flow through the funnel no matter how much bigger one jug is than the other.
They should let people only vote once.
I don\'t really give a shit about either one of these dweebs anyway. Chris is the only voice I could dig anyway.

Chris should have won and I agree. I was telling a co-worker the same thing about the voting. Both lines are maxed so the votes are even.

Tivo is my friend. It takes maybe 10 minutes to watch AI and actually I don\'t watch it. I usually come in here and putz on my computer when my wife and son zip through it.

Voting by calling a voice line is stupid in itself. It seems so low tech and prone to abuse. They should come up with some sort of secure internet voting system, or force people to vote only with text messages. That way they could filter out duplicates and votes could be collected with no capacity limitation.

easiest way --> text your vote to the AI call center. Each cell phone # can only be entered once, thus counting as a single vote per cell phone.
They got smart last night and had 3 phone lines open for EACH contestant.
I wish Elliot would have won. Best voice, lousy looks, and he\'s from VA. :D
Have to say, I don\'t usually watch AI this far into the game (mostly just the first couple of shows), but there was a ton of talent & variety this season. :gfight:

My family is always watching this crap. Chris will probably make it big with some rock band. He\'s that dude with the rock/metal voice, right? He belongs elsewhere. Crappy pop songs aren\'t his style.

i dont really watch the show..but i heard that chris guy is taking over singing for Fuel. which seems like a good pop rock fit for him.
not sure if hell "make it big" since fuel was only really popular for like 2 years.

I dont\' like it when bands change singers. Its just not the same after that point. But what can you do. Rage split and it was basically all the same people except the lead singer and renamed the band (although they sang different stuff so I guess it merited a new band name). I dunno.

THey offered it to him, but I saw him on some interview show and it doesn\'t look like he\'ll take it. He\'d do better on his own.

rage focused around the singer..only people who liked them knew how good the guitarist and bassist were/are, so they mightve gotten away with replacing one of the instruments..but zach whatever\'s lyrics and angry rapping made the band at a promotional level.
Did that guy ever make his solo album?
fuel...had THAT ONE song,lol. think they got popularity when Creed and Bush got popular..seems like there always little fad\'s that come and go..only great bands make it through the fads.
gracias for the info vid..he probably would get more $$ riding the "american idol favorite who got screwed" train. not that i think he got screwed but they showed the reaction of the people when he got booted on the news, leno, etc.

Like Viper said the lead singer they kept all the band, but I believe Rage still has new shit with the Zach guy... with new people, but Audioslave has the guitars and drums from rage and the lead singer from Soundgarden who always had a much more mellow tone.

Chris Cornell has an amazing voice but I\'d still rather hear him with soundgarden than audioslave. Something just doesn\'t click with audioslave.

this show is ghey, extremely ghey,..i mean the coming of thee apocolypse ghey...the only time i watched it was in the beginning for auditions which were mildly entertaining, after that i tried watching the actual competition,..and i just cannot get into this show,the only people on that show that i thought were decent was that bald headed dude, that greg brady lookin\' dude and possibly that fantasia reject....
as far as prince goes,...he\'s the man or woman..;)...i\'ve always thought of him as mike\'s direct competition... i like both prince\'s and mike\'s older to late tracks, but i\'ve always thought that prince was a wee bit more manly than mike,..when prince was married he had a fine ass wifey and had a baby, but it passed away due to birthing defects,...even tho prince is by-sexual i\'m sure he was knockin down his wifey while mike was busy tryin to knock down little boys...
