Farcry was a great game, but the multiplayer was lacking. Crysis looks to address these issues, with 32 player games and various game modes. One intriguing one is a "power struggle" mode, in which you must slowly build up forces, capture tech, rise in the ranks, and take over the enemy base. With a 2 hour day cycle, it can take upto 10 hours to successfuly achieve victory. Great idea, hopefully they\'ll have creative ways to make sure that people don\'t abandon ship too much when their team is loosing, switch sides, and ways to make sure new players can join (else I think it will rarely end with full teams).
Game\'s looking pretty crispy.

farcry was far from a great game. Had some nice graphics though....

Despite all the accolades, I could never get into Far Cry as well. Unistalled the demo after a couple of days
Crysis may be a different story though. Looks pretty solid so far

I need a new multiplayer FPS to fill the void here in the coming months. Crysis might just fit the bill.

im pretty sure the requirements for crysis are going to be insane. Noone knows the final requirements but its probably going to need 1.5 gigs minimum.
ghost recon (single player) and BF2 have been filling my FPS needs. But im definitly thinking of upgrading my video card for crysis. Probably passing on BF2142.

looks like EA might buy them out too
We can only hope!

buy out who? crytek?
arent there laws against monopolizing?
-
Aren\'t there laws against buying every good independent developer and turning them into sequel-churning shithouses?

I played pretty far through it.. I got to a point that I couldn\'t pass and quit playing it. But I really enjoyed it though.. not sure if it was for the game or the graphics.. but it sure was (and still is) a beautiful game.
Damn hard though
