I recently bought a bunch of games for my Genesis only to discover it doesn\'t work. I got it at a garage sale a while back.
So just now I bought another one on ebay. It came with 6 games so now my limited Genesis collection includes such classics as Ariel: The Little Mermaid, The Great Waldo Search, and ShaqFu!
On the bright side, I desperately want to play ShaqFu, and I also own a couple winners including Sonic and Ecco the Dolphin.
K, story time over

Every year or two I get all nostalgic and pull out one or two of my old consoles. Whether genesis, SMS, dreamcast, NES, TG16 or whatever, it\'s really fun to play those classics I remember so fondly for a week or so.
I\'ve noticed too, that despite the crap graphics, those \'classics\' never really get old, something today\'s developers forgot long ago.

it\'s amazing how short those games were
i broke out golden axe and was exited to plau thru it, 20 minutes later it went back in the box.....

It\'s true. Even old epics like Zelda:LTTP are only 15 hours, and that\'s taking your time.

I got stuck in that shortly into the dark world and never finished it. :(

Well, if you own the cartridge, just put it away and download the ROM...

Me, I don\'t game on my PC. It crashes enough as it is without getting more junk on it. I still have my SNES hooked up, I could just go play it again if I was that into it....

We have an SNES hooked up to our TV at my house on campus. Every once in a while a game of mario kart will break out. Other than that, nobody really plays video games. Its quite sad really.

I suppose they have better things to do than play videogames.
