One million for Pac-Man World 2? Seriously.

Bummer about Prince of Persia\'s ranking and Beyond Good and Evil\'s absence.

And is this the same Next Generation as the defunct magazine?

This cracked me up, too:

Agent Under Fire had the distinction of being only the second 007-based FPS game to grace consoles since Rare’s 1997 Goldeneye set the standard for console shooters. EA’s game didn’t live up to that legacy, but it certainly did just fine selling on it.

was quite surprised to see Grand Theft Auto Vice City sold that well.  Although I never own one or played it before, but wow, that game must have been really good or addictive for its to sell that well...7 millions sold in U.S. alone is an amazing number...

I\'m not.

I always thought VC was a top game, and I liked it as much for the nostalgia effect as the gameplay.

I think a lot of peoples opinions of it naturally dropped when SA came out due to the newwider range of objectives, sidemissions, and better graphics.

I played VC again a month or so ago, and the game seemed to be over with all too soon, compared to SA, but I enjoyed playing it almost as much the first time I played it.

I\'m a bit surprised to see it where it is, but I wouldn\'t have been surprised to see it in the top 10-20

Good games are rare and underrated. Unfortunately we are surrounded by people that dont appreciate creativity. Only whatever is labeled popular and cool.

They count GTA:Vice City since apparently it was number one, but they bump San Andreas off the list and put its sales in that listing.

It\'s sad that Doom 3 beat out HL2 on units sold.

I love seeing MoH:AA on there though, man I played the hell out of that game.

As nerdy as it sounds, I met so many cool people on mohaa.  Formed a lot of good friendships too.  In the end the hax0rz killed it but to be in a clan for 4 years straight says something.

On HL2 sales, I wonder if they counted all the copies sold through Steam?

I\'m sure it\'s not just you.

But I liked it, played right through it and wished there was more.

But it didn\'t have any replay value for me.

There were some other popular games I missed out on. God of War, Ico and I only played the demo of Shadow of the Colossus.  I missed Katamari, too.

I should get my hands on some of those games. Particularly GoW and Katamari.

katamari still gets more playing time out of me than anything else.

i\'de played thru the levels 100\'s of times, but there is something therapeutic about rolling that ball around i can\'t describe.

VC was the cream of teh crop when it came to the gta series, i found i didn\'t enjoy SA, felt it was lacking heart.  VC is pretty! and i love the 80s music.

What are Franchise Sales?
GTA3 / VC / SA are a franchise of GTA.

Doom 1 / 2 / 3 are franchise of Doom etc.

Damn, maybe I should play VC, I didn\'t bother after GTA:SA, which I didn\'t like much.

VC was a lot of fun. I liked SA too, though. The music wasn\'t as good, but I think the world was better.

I couldn\'t get more than ten minutes into Liberty City Stories on PSP though before I turned it off forever out of boredom. I feel kind of bad about that because it was a present!
