smith, gore, and wells did pretty well. Ill be a little more convinced when they arent playing the cardinals D. Their D needs a few trades and drafts before theyre okay..they lost 1 of their 2 good D players.

Thomas Jones is a solid RB for them, they have benson if they need the big guy, grossman actually throws the ball unlike orton, and even if grossman gets hurt, griese is a good qb.
And their D is arguably the best.
Not sure if alex brown played or not, but the only thing that will stop them from going far in the playoffs are injuries.

I have told myself I will no longer watch the Steelers play. I get too emotionally affected by their frikken games that sometimes it will ruin my entire day or week, depending on how important that game is.

argh..i cannot believe dallas completely gave that game away...why do they almost always let their opponents hang around after they have a lead?....they play according to how the other team is playing...it\'s like they will play strong for 10 minutes take the lead then do some bulls**t ass quick out plays....the only time they opened it up a bit as far as plays go are when they are down big and are in panic mode....
and bledsoe?...wtf was he doing?...every time he throws a ball i used to feel confident about his throws,..now?..i pray that it\'s not an INT...dallas has a solid team on both sides of the ball this year and i just cannot understand wtf is goin on with them...*sigh*...no-matter how sh**ty they play tho, no matter how many ulcers they try to give me, i\'m gonna hang with them...hopefully we\'ll make the redskins do a raindance next week...

Ok, so Pats start off 2-0 which I like. However the wins were against Buffalo and the Jets, and they didn\'t overwhelm me so I still have that in the back of my head. Next week they host the Broncos and hopefully we can get some revenge for last year!

granted the bears have faced two bad teams, im pretty convinced that theyre going to go far. All they really need to score is 17 points in a game and they pretty much have it sealed.
Ever since they made the playoffs with a horrible qb like orton, and then the offense came alive for the few games grossman was in last season, i knew theyd be awesome. Injuries will be their achilles heal though.
But still..as good as they are, i just cant see the bears in the superbowl,lol. If steve smith stays out long enough for carolina to get out of the picture, i think the bears can handle almost anyone in the nfc. afc is another story..

Keep in mind this is coming from a long time, long suffering, highly passionate Bears fan.
I\'m trying like hell to not get too excited, but Rex Grossman looks like the real deal.
Like you said, they have played 2 bad teams, but they whupped them, and thats what good teams are sposed to do to bad teams.
Grossman isn\'t just throwing up shit and getting lucky either... He\'s making some awesome passes right on the money to covered recievers where only they can catch it.
And, the defense looks insane, Lance Briggs might be better than Urlacher.
They got the Vikings on Sunday, and the Vikes are a solid team. This is a big game to show whether the Bears are for real.
Like I said, I\'m trying to contain my excitment.

Tampa Bay is falling apart.....there defense isnt even doing good any more, Simms is done, which isnt certainly a bad thing. Gardowski (sp?) is supposed to be pretty good and was good for Toledo, i wouldnt be surprised if he takes Simms\' spot permanently.
Gruden has been relying too much on the pass, Simms had over 50 attempts week 2, which no matter how bad your running game is doing should never happen. You can\'t pass without establishing the run, especially with the QB/OL/WR groups the Bucs have.

yea, grossman had no sense of what was around him. Hed be in the pocket for like 4 seconds with the ball dangling in his hand while the DE\'s are making their way to him. Every time i was like "man hes gunna fumble"
But, the D and special teams came up huuge. Really dont know what the cardinals were thinking in gameplan. It seems like either stupid teams run the ball and are too conservative or throw way too much when they had the lead. Needed to be balanced, trying to keep the lead, keep the clock running, but also moving the ball.

no doubt...there\'s no way that should\'ve happened, and luke, why was the arizona offensive coord. axed?...i would\'ve thought the defensive coord would\'ve caught some heat for that comeback....and i didn\'t see the whole game, but the parts i did see, it seemed like the chi-town D was stuffing james at every turn....meh you can never sit on a lead in the nfl..viper stated it perfectly on saying you have to keep the game balanced and not run, run, run....i think the cards are much better than what is on paper, but i think that fumble before halftime is what started the downfall....props to the bears for not giving up....

did u watch the game? the D made grossman (who\'s looked amazing) look like a 5 year old school girl. 6 turnovers and they still lose the game? their offense gave up 2 huge turnovers for TD\'s and a kick return for a TD. Their D coach is the reason they shoudlve won the game.
The right person got blamed. But i think they need an o-line to get the running game going. Edge was successful in indy because teams had to watch the passing game, and the o-line was good.

How can you blame the defense when none of the comeback came from offensive points? It was 2 TD\'s on defense and one of special teams.
And it\'s not always a question of how much you run, it\'s when and where and how you run. The point of that stat isn\'t how much they ran...it\'s how little they got from how much they ran.

Just because they got close to beating the bears doesnt mean that the cardinals are good..just means that grossman and the offense had a horrible game, and if they play again the bears will probably win. But its football and almost everyone but the raiders has a chance to win. He almost based his whole season on this game: if they won, the bears do suck. If they lose, nothing new. The fact is, they had the best team in the NFL on the ropes, then the bears came out in the second half and with literally no offense, came back and won the game.
The Bears defense had thier fist up the Cardinals ass the entire second half.
The Cardinals LOOKED scared after the third quarter. You could tell just watching the game.

wow...what is wrong with bledsoe?...how can you get to the goal line and do the exact same thing you did a couple of weeks ago?...every time we get to the goal line you could just feel an INT comin\'....i like bledsoe, only because i know he\'s tryin really hard to win, but he just kills us every time in the red zone..and against good teams you cannot do stupid s**t like that.....but one thing i will say,...it\'s not all bledsoe\'s fault.....dallas offensive line can\'t protect anybody...that is also part of the problem...there was huge difference in the way eli and bledsoe were being protected...dallas o-line sucks...

I say Bush because he had 10,000x the hype of Willimams and has only scored 1 TD
Williams is on pace for about 10 sacks and is showing signs of improvement.
I\'ll take a 10 sack a year defensive end over a 3.0 yards per carry back that can catch 5 yard screen passes well.

uh..biggest bust is easily williams.
Overall, bush is having a big impact not just running the ball. 10 receptions in a game? cant tell me thats not helping the team out. Mcallister is running the ball very well but got hurt (yet again..) and bush was alone against an awesome ravens defense. Bush isnt even the right guy to face the ravens because he\'s too finesse..they needed a bruiser like mcallister to take the brunt of the work, but he had a bad hammy so he did pretty poorly too.
Cant call bush a bust just because mcallister is having a good year (taking the TD\'s..if your at the goalline, whose going to be in there?) and because bush got shut down against one of the best D\'s in the league.
between brees, colston, bush, mcallister, and horn..theyre potentially a great offense. Just have to show consitancy.
Theres obviously going to be more hype about a RB than a DE. RB\'s get the ball 25 times a game while DE\'s get mentioned like twice a game (except if ur julius peppers).
Williams will be like courtney brown..bush will be a top utility guy to be in the league. Will take a little while to prove he can be a straight up RB whose main purpose is to run the ball and drain the clock when they need it, but hes honestly not built for that.

i dont think benson\'s been doing that badly. He got what he deserved by holding out when he was drafted, and thats a spot on the bench. Theres a high likelyhood thomas jones wouldnt have anywhere near the role he has now if benson wasnt an idiot..im glad as hell jones took advantage of the opportunity and made it impossible for them to sit him.
But seeing as hes the backup..whenever i see him in, hes getting the tough yards. 3 TD\'s isnt bad while he has jones taking everything.
Think benson was hurt last year.

And as far as I\'m concerned, Bush isn\'t a bust at all. He\'s been having an impact on that team, and the team is performing well. He doesn\'t need to get a million carries as a rookie to justify the pick, especially with McAllister there. I think the better sign is that he\'s not complaining that he isn\'t getting a million carries, is playing within the offense, and playing well in his role. I\'d still take him over Williams (or for that matter, Wali Lundy).

Isn\'t it great. Between the Bengals and Steelers sucking it\'s awesome. They pour out the woodwork here just to disappear in a heartbeat. My favorite are the ones that wear their bengals or steelers clothes out to shop just to come into the store I\'m working at during the game. WHAT THE FUCK. Luckily the Steelers were able to get some TD\'s out of the big runs.

A) Boy did the Giants ever blow that game. I\'d like to think the result might have been different had we not had all the injuries: Osi, Strahan, Arrington, Toomer, etc, but it was hard to see the way we just folded at the end. Usually this is a team of comebacks, a team that you don\'t count out. That isn\'t who they were yesterday, it was sad. Chicago is all but the #1 seed already now.
B) Thank God the Jets beat the Pats. Bill Belichick is such an asshole, I swear to God. That whole refusing to even acknowledge Mangini thing was just stupid. Now that Mangini beat him with a worse team, he just looks like an ass. I just love how the two have come out of this childish display by Belichick. theyll still have bailey, wilson, gold (hopefully), dj williams, darrent williams, foxworth...and they get new d-linemen every year.
The D is pretty set with young guys and veterans, and the veterans have long term deals.
only question will be how long john lynch can keep kicking ass and what they do about nick furguson now that hes out for the year.

anyone who knows one single detail about the saints KNEW mcallister would be the workhorse. Especially if he stayed healthy, which he has for the most part.
Bush is honestly too small to be THE running back of any team. At best, hes going to be the role of warrick dunn, but hes going to need a big back to get the tough yards. But right now, the saints have found a perfect place for him as a backup RB/WR/KR.
I think you thought people thought he was going to have amazing statistics. Some people probably did, but theyre also retarded. He\'s more than yards and TD\'s to the saints. Kind of like randle el, but more versitle running wise.

i just don\'t know what to say....all i can say is that they were out-played...the saints came prepared to counter every play dallas came up with..and when you\'re that prepared, no team can win. i kinda felt comin towards the end of the third qtr, that they were startin\' to give up, which was pissin me off, or maybe it could\'ve been that the D was startin to get tired,...whatever it was they just didn\'t have that urgency to get back into the game....i don\'t hate the saints, they played a great game...

But in basketball you generally know the top teams; in baseball you ALWAYS know the top teams; but in football we have the steelers sucking (yet still having an outside shot at the playoffs) and two teams that didnt make the playoffs superbowl favorites. Yes..its quite alright to have an arsenal in your house as long as they are reg. weapons. He had 6, all of which were not. He also had some loser he went to school with in AZ living there at the time too who has a record longer than my limbs.
Yes, he is at fault too for not knowing what your guests bring into your house. or even worse...knowing and not doing shit about it.
