Don\'t they have a coup every 12 years or something?  Who cares.  Besides, Thais are too laid back and friendly to have a REAL military coup with massacres, death squads, and football stadiums full of corpses and stuff like that.  :o

It\'s not much of a coup when it\'s only a dozen tanks taking over the (empty) presidential residence.  It\'s happened before and will again, the military is pro-monarchy, so everytime someone not the king has power, becomes corrupt, or institues reformes, they sieze control.
