For people who have an OCD-like need to maintain Windows XP.

Here\'s a good free Registry Cleaner ~>
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2048 (RegScrubXP)

Here\'s another one that has many other features (my favorite) ~>
http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/34289 (CCleaner)

^^

Can fix registry issues as well as delete a bunch of useless shit that clogs up your hard drive space. Also allows you to edit your startup programs and uninstall programs faster than the Add/Remove thing.

"Registry Booster" is what i use, cleans the reg, finds broken and invalid links and it even defrags it.  Great program.

AVG/SpyBot/None at the moment

I have been noticing something in the last 15 minutes. The more I refresh or visit a particular site(if I go through the main page and not a bookmark) more and more sites are showing up.

if it helps...i used the reg. cleaner you suggested and I also have used R-Wipe&Clean

I don\'t really know WTF the deal is with that. That seems a little strange. Security settings maybe? I suck ass at giving computer advice. It\'s always easier to just go on the comp myself and see WTF is up. Sorry that I can\'t be more helpful. :(

Just when i was starting to think the more i refresh the better things are...nope.  Seems as if a page will load correctly if it wants to or not. I just have better luck if I have been refreshing
