Title: Preordered or Taking a Chance?

So who\'s who? I will not preorder this time but if I walk into Best Buy and see one I will have a difficult time not plunking down my CC even though I shouldn\'t.

With the launch numbers being what they are, you won\'t walk into Best Buy this year and just happen to find a couple, it will be simmilar to the PS2 and 360 launch... lineup, or wait till 2007.  I\'ve preordered at one place and will probably line up in another and try for two.  If I get one, it gets sold, if I get two, one gets sold (same as PS2), and pays for my keeper and a game or three.

Yeah, I\'m not gonna break my chops to find one. I really shouldn\'t buy at this time but as the day gets nearer I\'m getting that new console fever.

I\'d suggest you wait... unless there\'s a launch game you desperately want to play.

i\'m gonna wait as well, only game i really want from the ps3 lineup is heavenly sword, and maybe creed assassin(spel)...and maybe a possible price drop....

I even took a ride to my local EB and they are still not taking names.

Going to pre-order as soon as they start taking names.  I\'m going to buy several if I can, and I might keep one if I make enough off the sold units.

im going to preorder just to see if it can pay for itself. I still have a few ps2 games i have yet to play or purchase. I figure if i can get ahold of a ps3..sell it on ebay i should have my money back and then some when they become more available.

I now have four preorders out, with a total of 200 down (50, 50, 100, and 0).  If I get one I\'ll be happy (for flipping), and should I get more it\'ll probably mean I get to keep one.
