There are always morons who don\'t consider the implications of their actions. He\'s lucky he didn\'t end up arrested or shot.
I\'ve had interesting discussions with people about the media doing \'stunts\' like this. Sometimes they\'re providing a service, but in this case, it was nothing valuable. Even someone \'testing\' airport security... I\'ve often wondered what would happen if they were caught on camera while sneaking around in secured areas and cost the airport a few hundred thousand because of delayed flights and searches that would happen.

Screw arrested..he\'s just lucky not to get shot. Nothing illegal about what he did and being arrested would only set-up the police and city for a lawsuit in todays world.

Actually there are provisions in most countries prohibiting \'willfull concealment\', that is obfuscation of ones identity with \'no purpose\'. So wearing a ski-mask in july can get you detained and identified once you\'re noticed... and it\'s just not worth the hassle.
You would have a hard time justifying pantyhose on the head any time of year. Even in locations where masks are legal at any time, there are always provisions for \'except during the commission of a crime\' and you will eventually be detained (not arrested) and questioned for doing something like this.

i guess i should have clarified. most places in the states it is not illegal.

It was still funny and if i had time to waste doing it or possibly in a holding cell for a few hours id do it too just to see the looks on peoples faces.
then again im kind of a sick mofo :D

Just keep in mind, that if you have no good reason for doing it, when someone calls the cops, they\'re going to detain (not arrest) you while they (a) confirm your identity, (b) file a report, and (c) check to make sure you haven\'t commited any crimes in the area you are picked up in. Keeping in mind that in most jurisdictions they have 24-72 hours that they can detain you without charges, and it may be longer in the US these days, I\'m not keeping current on the minutia of US law.
You might also want to keep in mind that in the US if you walk into the wrong store with pantyhose over your head you may just end up shot. Whether or not the shooter gets into trouble later over the shooting will matter little to you. Frankly, they likely would have a good case for \'perceived threat\' (since that\'s in the eye of the beholder).

me personally, i thought the video clip was hilarious. I gotta give that guy probs for having the gut to dress like a mask robber and walk like one and scaring people off in stores. The way those people reacts when they sees him are a keeper.
Of course, if someone is going to dress like that going to airport, they are just asking for trouble. This is different imo. He is just going to local stores. sure, there is a risk that he might gets lock up or kill, but probs for him for having the gut to do it and making it very hilarious.
Probably the funniest part of the bunch is when the other guy pushed him out of the store and tried to take the pantyhose off his head, he said he just wanted to eat noodles, and dumplings.:laughing:

With foolish kids these days videotaping their crimes, a camera is little protection. They were probably mostly fixated on the guy they thought had come in to rob them anyways, with very little attention payed to other things.

but this guy has a show..so i imagine he had better than just the average camcorder the average kid on a crime spree uses.

I thought the video was funny as hell. Fatal, grow a sense of humor. There wasn\'t supposed to be a point to this. It was only supposed to be humerous. It probably was staged for the most part too.

It really didn\'t look staged to me. Usually you can tell but this seemed genuine. Maybe except the guy who was calling the cops. That one may have been staged. If I did this and saw a guy going to a phone, I\'d run like hell. This guy just stayed. Guy still has a lot of balls though. I\'d be scared of getting shot or something.

i found it funny, but did wonder about how people wouldn\'t notice the camera dood behind him. Surely that would give it kinda away, unless they put a ski mask on the camera man too. Wonder where in australia that was filmed, because i\'ve never seen it on our tv.

To get it up there, you would need a lot of lube and a bulldozer. To answer your second question, after your looks started to fade, Fatal actually started to look pretty good.

Nah our big thread and Canuck intense conversation were destroyed along with half a dozen other threads by LiC\'s tantrum. They\'re still there, but there all merged into one superthread, I believe in the main forum that\'s getting pushed off. They\'re all mixed up now though, so it\'s not as good reading.
Do a search for some of the \'catch phrases\' and you\'ll find em (Captain Canuck, for example).
