I remember the fiasco over the Tickle Me Elmo doll about 10 years ago. When they released the 10th anniversary edition Elmo a month ago, I bought 4 of them for about $35 each from walmart.com

Anyone sell things on eBay before? Is it easy?

Doesn\'t feel right.....buying something I don\'t want and selling it for an inflated price to someone who wants to make their child happy.

A coworker of mine saw a hello kitty lunch container on ebay that was different (had polka dots or some shit) than the others selling for $47 a piece. Our local supermarket had 27 of them for $2.79  on closeout. kinda cool.

I remember when these things first came out people were dropping 300 for them on eBay, some rich fucker\'s going to have to get one for his kid and will pay the extra money to make jr happy trust me, I sell alot of shit on ebay, you see what the xBox and ps2 and 360 sold for when there were none left, same goes for these TMX\'

i didn\'t know people were still checkin\' for them....didn\'t these things play out 3 yrs ago?....what? these things always become the latest and greatest around christmas time?....only other hot commodity around x-mas time that i remember was the cabbage patch dolls,..now i remember hearin on the news that parents were actually fightin\' up and down the isles for those ugly thangs....:laughing:

ELmo hasnt really been hot since his debut. This is the 10 year anniversary one that laughs its ass off as well as rolls around. So basically someone took ROFLMAO, added some motors, and stuffed it into the same old elmo.

I remember that fiasco. Imagine the prices of the Cabbage Patch if eBay was around then.
