50% of the trees on my street ended up in the street taking out the power to everyone except me. My 60 yr old lilac tree-gone, the towering oak and ash trees that provided shade in the summer are now laying in my yard, on my fence or on my garage. My street was impassable up until yesterday. Mayhem. Photos later.

It had already started melting, as it was around 45 degrees. the nighttime pics I have show it to be around knee-deep. It started at around 2:00 in the afternoon. And yes that shit was heavy, I strained my back shovelling the walk.
And Jumpy I guarantee you you\'ve never seen snow like we get here. Where the fuck do you live? East Socialist Pussyland canada? Do you have a giant lake directly to the west of you that generates massive amounts of moisture that turns into lake effect snow when it hits land? Probably not. The only thing you have that generates massive amounts of moisture is your mom when Clips is hittin\' that shit.

The only reason this was a big deal was the leaves still on the trees. Otherwise it just would have been an average snowstorm.
I credit prayer for the fact that I did not lose power with an 8-week-old in the house. When the trees started falling , I said, "jesus, are you listening? Because if you are, I\'m speaking to you for the first time ever. If my power goes out, so help me, I\'ll kick your fucking ass, you jew pussy!"

Whew...finally got on the internet. I\'m still without power...don\'t expect it on for a few days. I\'ve got assorted cables laying in the back yard and no sign of national grid guys yet. It\'s just the two of us and the dog in the house so I\'m not in a big hurry.
I\'m glad you and the Mrs. and the wee one are okay, Chizz. I was worried about ya. Our trees are the same...torn the hell up. I\'m in the Town of Tonawanda south of sheridan and west of nf blvd. If only I had a chainsaw...

I was wondering how you guys did, too... We\'re sort of in the same area. (I\'m near main & bailey) that pic is one block north of main, looking south, from right in front of my house.
