Title: Family Guy
Post by: Eiksirf on October 23, 2006, 08:39:44 AM
Anyone play the game?

It\'s funny and incorporates cutaway jokes in the form of minigames (playing Marco Polo with Helen Keller is a fun one, but it\'s pretty easy not to get caught since she just stands there, heh).

It has a lot of cameo characters and the real voice talent.

The stories are funny and the Stewie levels are good. Peter\'s levels are old-fashioned side-scrolling beat-em-up levels that start to get old near the end. Brian is about being stealthy.

The game only lasts about 6 or 7 hours, and ends with a couple great boss battles just when some of it starts to get tedious.

It\'s fun and would be a perfect rental. For $29.99, it\'s not that bad of a purchase either, if you\'re a fan of the show.

I saw the commercials and as much as I love Family Guy, I thought the game looked stupid. But maybe I\'ll give it a try. I havne\'t bought a new game since May. Dunno if I\'d buy it though.

It\'s not great. It flutters between good and average, in my opinion, but it has a lot of charm and you\'d probably get a kick out of it. Thirty bucks worth? Maybe, maybe not...

Is that all it is? 30 bucks? I\'ll wait for a used copy.
