Title: Cyprus in the news

Haha nothing against uni, but whenever you see some news about his country it\'s PSX2C law that you HAVE to post it.

Hospital closure leaves corpses to rot (http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=oddlyEnoughNews&storyid=2006-10-30T135158Z_01_L28882294_RTRUKOC_0_US-CYPRUS-CORPSES.xml)

That was probably Uni\'s job. He\'s such a slacker. I bet he was doing something completely stupid like......playing video games. ;)

Well its not anything to consider funny.
Mostly another reason added to want to leave from here. I am surrounded by stupid irresponsible morons.

Also something slightly irrelevant, recently a teacher beat my 10 year old cousin and caused him a concussion. My aunt took him to the hospital, and you know what happened?  The principal tried to cover up what happened. She made some phone calls to some "heads"  who told the doctors to get rid of their reports. Not only that the principal told my aunt to take my cousin to another school and blame another kid for the concussion. That kid is crying all day because he is scared and afraid they will blame him for something he didnt do.

My cousin talks in his sleep and seats on his bed while asleep sometimes shouting and his is afraid to go to school. The moron caused him psychological trauma.

And instead of sending that fucking bastard away from school or even black list him as a teacher they are trying to help him run away with it and blame a kid???

Jesus Christ!!! What kind of place is this???

And its usually really odd or stupid or reflects stupidity. But it is unfortunate.

Hey Uni, maybe you should consider moving out if you are so pissed about the school thing and Cyprus in general. We can get an apartment together :)

I thought I remembered an article about Cyprus in Wired several years ago.  I didn\'t realize it was SEVEN years ago... damn the time passes fast.

Things are kind of f*cked up. Its peacefull over here but we will always have conflicts of interests between Turkish and Greek Cypriots and the involvement of Turkey makes it even worse. The biggest problem are the nationalistic bigots from both sides, Turkey and the rich idiots that built and invest on the north side.

Some Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots meet and try to show that they can live together just as they did before the war and the conflicts during the 60s but the stupid patriotic idiots from both sides are too proud to even consider it. I wouldnt find it strange if they start all over again the killing of the past in case we unite again.

The events that resulted to the island\'s dichotomy are much more complicated than what that article says although I didnt read it in detail.

in the case of your cousin,..have you ever heard of lawsuit?...i\'m not sure how your legal system works over there, but you clearly have a case. It\'s really scary that the principal of the school is making those remarks and if you\'re not getting help from the local authorities in that manner, it\'s really hard to recommend moving out of your country because of that, as we also have instances of scenarios just as yours that have gone unjustified....

But if have been thinkin\' about movin\' anyway, c\'mon over...:fro:

Thats what my ant is planning to do. She had personally talked to the minister in the meantime about the situation and told him that the principal told her to take her kid into another school and pretend that nothing happened.

Personally I want to leave because I cant take it anymore with those idiots. The system is idiotic. If someone knows people in the government in Cyprus he can arrange things and get away with it. And I hate this. Other morons that have no specific knowledge or anything to justify their position just find jobs in the government just because they know people in the government.
