Dumb ass.

There\'s a wrist strap on the Wiimote? Shows what I knew.
The pic makes it look like it snapped, which seems unlikely, but I guess it\'s good to know that it can happen.

Yeah, so little mishaps like this don\'t happen ;)

TVs aren\'t that fragile. This guy is a tool. I call shenanigans.

apparently, no console is safe from disc read errors. waiting on the PS3 errors to surface
-
Wow, that sucks. It didn\'t take that long for DREs to surface. Atleast PS2 had a few good months until they started to happen.

Such is life with disc based media, I\'m afraid. The good news is that Nintendo is mailing out free systems, provided that they receive the defective one within the next 20 days or something like that.
Tell that to Microsoft who issues updates that break some hardware and then asks for $130 to fix it, allegedly, anyway.

I know, right? Its ridiculous when Microsoft and Sony charge for their fuck ups. Nice of Nintendo to take the consoles back. All they do is fix and repackage them. Doesn\'t really lose them too much money.

^^^heh that\'s why sometimes it\'s better to wait for the 2nd batch of consoles instead of the initial launch shipment.....let them fix the bugs...as far as the cracked tv goes,..i would believe that the remote would shatter first before actually cracking the tv screen....

yupyup. That\'s why I didnt buy anything this generation :D

For sure. I think my Wii might be a little buggy, too. I got an error last night that I hope was on Nintendo\'s end with the servers, I\'ll see later if I still get it. And every once in a while it seems to freeze while loading a disc. But I think I might just get impatient waiting, so I\'ll have to see what happens next time.

I would have thought the remote would break first. TV screens are thick and hard to break. It takes a lot of force to do it.

I think it was the baseball game. When you pitch the ball, you can get more speed by whipping the remote like when you throw a knife. I bet it slipped right out of his hand and cracked the screen.
