Here\'s yet another story of authorities gone haywire. What the hell is up with these people?

Cliff\'s notes: Some people held a party/event in Utah, had every permit required, security, insurance, the works. This 100% legal party is stormed by troops with rifles, police dogs, helicoptors, you name it. They start to get violent (the troops that is). I\'m speechless.

It seems this kind of thing is getting more common, at least to me. The whole student-getting-tazered-a-gazillion-times-for-not-showing-student-id incident is  stilll fresh in my mind. Something is clearly wrong and nobody should stand for such blatant abuse of civil rights.

i can\'t believe the date says 2005, i would have sworn this is at least 2 years old.  not knocking your story sammy ;)  i do think they went a tad overboard.

i think the cops were bored, had a ton of resources, and several tips of drug deals at the gathering.  Bottom line is we weren\'t there and if this *was* as big a deal as the author says it should have made national news, not only because there was tons of people there but because there was VIDEO too.  Plus, if the proper permits were issued and paid for but the cops still broke it up, you can bet there would be a lawsuit or too against the police dept.

Facts aren\'t adding up, something smells fishy.

I dunno, after all the conspiracy theory BS floating around on the net it\'s hard to believe anything from these anti-establishment web sites.

Utah is their own little thing. My cousin lives in SLC and says that they are absolutely crazy over there and they are supposedly very anti-party and stuff like that, like people and the establishment.

Hah, sorry, I didn\'t check the date. I thought it was current. :nerd:
