Title: Walked in and bought one....
Post by: Animal Mother on December 07, 2006, 07:09:16 PM: Last thursday, got up at 9:30 am, sick as a dog, puking, had my girlfriend take me up to best buy, walked to the game department, they told me to go to customer service. Line of about 5 people, and i bought one. Once word got out that they had 15 in, chaos ensued, which i avoided.

Post by: GmanJoe on December 13, 2006, 02:15:45 PM: I just managed to get a bundle order from Costco. Got the 60GB with extra controller and the rather sucky Genji game for $699.

After taxes and shipping, it totalled $9,234. Not....it cost me $750.

Is that good? Is it better than standing in line for 9 days? I finally Jones\'ed with mm. :p

My Costco order has yet to be confirmed and my card has not been charged so it looks like they over booked their online sales! :( Luckily, I knew a delivery was confirmed for this one EB store so I waited there. Once the guy walked into the mall, I got in line and got dibs on their PS3 60GB. Cashier says thay ain\'t got any but I point to the door and say "Now you do!"

They got 12 PS3\'s in. I was the 4th guy to get one (coz my cashier was yapping on the phone and s-l-o-w-l-y processing my order. I stood in front of the the EB Game store and held up my PS3 and adults CHARGED INTO THE STORE!

Sold out! Gone! OUT OF STOCK! :D

That sucker is frikken heavy! Box weighs close to 20 pounds!

Now they\'re on schedule to deliver that 1 million mark before \'07.....but this was Sony talking. And I have seen more and more PS3 60GB coming in....and selling out. Yet....the shipments are almost daily.
