gotta love em monkeys ehh niggers ehhh black people.
-
ohhh bad souly, BAD!
guess the n-word isn\'t as bad in aussie-land.
-
nar not really. We don\'t go around saying it to anyone other then black americans.. so its all good.
-
You\'re an idiot.
-
hit a nerve eh. ;)
-
I just don\'t like racist terms.
-
yeah, jesus, even I wouldn\'t have posted that....
-
I thought it was entertaining. But that\'s just me.
-
you guys give us aussies nothing but shit, and when i do a little of picking back you cry like little girls. You whiny bitches!!!
-
Yeah but Australia is on the ass end of the earth. No one cares about it or anyone there....except for bobbo ;)
-
I for one, do not care about what Soullie said.
-
Not many people do.
-
I like Soulie. Although on some days when I\'m in a bad mood, I wish a saltwater croc would eat him....on worse days, I wish a Great White Shark would take a bite....but normally, I just think he\'s an okay bloke and wish a kangaroo would kick him in the nuts. :p
-
gotta love em monkeys ehh niggers ehhh black people.
this is what happens when you\'re tryin\' too hard to be funny....no class.......what thx posted was funny..... a little bit boarderlinish but still funny....
-
who said i was trying to be funny?
-
Soulgrind does not care about black people ;)
-
i have mates that are black. They couldn\'t care less for the nigger term. Although i don\'t say it to them unless they say something about me being white first. (in joking fashion) I was just referring to the vid Thx posted, but whatever.
-
It\'s irrelevant that you have black friends. That does not justify the use of that term.
-
i think it depends on how it was used. usually, a person of a different race called another person of different race racial names, maybe that person is a racist. As if that person feels he or she is better than another person of a different race. And maybe it boost their ego by calling someone racial terms to make him or her feels superior?
Honestly, it really depends actually such as the tone it was used, how frequent it was use, and if they really mean it or they are just saying it as a harmless friendly way. But usually, in my opinion...it was used more of a way to make them feel superior and as a way to make other feel inferior and insulted...i could be wrong though...
-
also america had that whole slavery thing....
-
also america had that whole slavery thing....
As did many other places....
-
I didn\'t use it as a derogatory term, if people took it as that i\'m sorry. If you still don\'t like it bite me, i couldn\'t care less. My mates don\'t give shit so why would i care what people on a forum think. I\'m over it.
and how does having black mates mean nothing. Surely if i was a racist i wouldn\'t hang out with black fellas.
-
My mates don\'t give shit so why would i care what people on a forum think.
Or millions of people...
and how does having black mates mean nothing. Surely if i was a racist i wouldn\'t hang out with black fellas.
Or if you weren\'t ignorant you\'d realize that the word doesn\'t just affect "people on a forum".
-
Soulgrind has shown the absence of racism. He said something that pisses some people off, but he\'s not a racist.
Lose the baggage associated with the word and we can all be happy, naive little Aussie sumbitches like him.
-

How is stringing the words "monkeys" and "niggers" together not derogatory?
-
It\'s a paradox. If a non-racist utters a racist word, doesn\'t that make him racist?
It\'s a zen thing. Like if a tree falls in the woods with no one around to witness it, does it make a sound?
-
i don\'t think soully is racist at all. it\'s just what he said wasn\'t funny at all....for the most part soully is right up with mm as far as his sarcastic humor....if he would\'ve made that comment in the hood, he would\'ve gotten his grill smashed for sayin somethin\' like that, and his black friends would\'ve gotten that ass whooped for lettin\' him say it...;)
ultimately this goes back to black folk using it....look at dave chappelle...i read in an article as to why he left his show...he stated he had a meeting with the producers of his show and they asked him questions like "why do black people call each-other the "n" word?" and how how come black folk get mad when we say it? Dave went on to explain why black folk call each-other that and so on.....long story short...Dave stated that the producers started feelin\' waaay to comfortable with the word and used it around him but in a jokingly fashion,..then they wanted him to start using the skits that "they" created letting him know when and when he cannot use the "n" word...
He went on to say that he started feelin\' like one of those black folks from back in tha day with the cane and top hat, just dancin around on a stage while the white folk were laughing at him...that is why he walked away from so much money....he felt that his producers who were all white by the way were laughing at him and not with him....you almost get the feeling that they were looking down on him after that conversation and that they never really respected him that much after that meeting....
And quite honestly maybe that is what dave needed to see how white folk perceive him when he uses it on stage,*a wake up call if you may* because of the history behind it and yet we still use it like it\'s nothing....and this has nothing to do with caring about what white folk think, it\'s about the people who fought so hard to make that word dissappear and to give us the things that we take advantage of today....
-
nice post clips. didn\'t know that about chappelle.
though not his producers were the only ones to blame for his predicament, I\'d probably feel the same way he did if i was blick

I didn\'t know much about Chappelle except that he didn\'t like the way black people were being portrayed and that he wasn\'t comfortable anymore with the racial things. I really admire him for what he did and my respect for Chappelle is higher than any other comedian I know. Didn\'t know about the producers thing though. Nice post clips. His jokes about white people though I found incredibly funny. I feel if we can comfortably laugh about ourselves then the racial boundaries will be lessened and we can start seeing each other more as people and less like black, white, etc.
-
"SIR, you are talking to a nigger!"
-Steve Martin, in "The Jerk"
I never thought soully was a racist, I just thought it was a little rough.
Monkeys!?!? C\'mon, everyone knows black people don\'t resemble monkeys....
they resemble Hippos... ;)
-
How bout dags? Here\'s soulie in action

I don\'t think Soulgrind is a racist either. Because he said that he only used it when the black people did something to him first, and that he have black friends...
So, I guess its also depends on the situation too like who started it first...
-
gotta love em monkeys ehh niggers ehhh black people.
As mentioned previously, Soulgrind\'s crime is not that he\'s a racist. It\'s that he is not funny. Ever.
-

But he could just be saying he has black friends ;)
-
^^
That too. ;)
-
what diff is there between what i said and the pics posted? pics say a 1000 words and all that shit..
like i said, my post was just in relation to the vid posted.. Watch it again and you\'ll see it. Just as those pics are in relation to what i said.
-
interesting that no one could reply. Wonder why, maybe it\'ll look a little contradictory.
-
Or maybe you\'ve been staring at the computer screen for hours and nobody gives a crap anymore. :p
-
nar, i have a life. I just got home from work and decided to check out the forums. All and behold, no reply. meh!
-
there\'s nothing to reply too...we\'ve already established you\'re not a racist...now being a penciled dick australian, that\'s for another discussion..;)....seriously tho the difference between the pics and what you said, is that you just came across a little rough, and sayin monkeys and niggers in the same text is always offensive no-matter how funny or lighthearted you intended the joke to be....
the other difference is that clearly chizz, thx, and evi were clearly being jerks on purpose because of the comment made by you, thx was actually makin\' fun of you in his post....but me tryin to explain this is just reachin too deep into this,...we all know you\'re not racist soully, just stick to your sarcastic humor and not the full frontal in your face kind....;)
-
it wasn\'t my joke for f@#K sake!!
-
^^^eh?.. it wasn\'t? I can\'t look at the video at work, but if indeed that "joke" was in the video then YOU were the only to catch it and broadcast it, thus revealing your true inner feelings!.....j/k soully..:p...seriously tho, if it\'s in the video i must\'ve overlooked it, and if that\'s the case then my bad..:)..now can we finally have some closure on this?....any more pursuit and i\'m going to drag your ass around my hood and have you say to all of my menz that you\'re not racist! i can see you now..."uhm...hi mista nigger friend of clips, i just want you to know i apologize for what i said on the internet, and i\'m not racist, some of my mates are niggers!"......heh heh, just messin\' with you soully....:fro:
-
Soulgrind hates black people. Even the clean ones.
-
if you check out "nigger" on wikipedia, it says that it is not considered as offensive to Australians, and casual use of it is common. I was shocked...
-
Yeah but who cares about Australia? Its all tucked away up on the top of the globe ;)
-
We call Australia Down Under. I asked an Australian if they call America Up Over.
She said no.
-
What do they call us?
-
What do they call us?
Fat bastards. *PSSSSZH*
-
I\'d rip on Denmark but no one in the US gives two shits about it ;)
