Title: Accessorizing Wii
Post by: Eiksirf on December 19, 2006, 07:43:20 AM
On eBay over the last couple days I ordered a USB battery charger and an S-Video cable for my Wii.

My component jacks are way in the back and being used by the 360. Wii\'s graphics are not good enough for me to buy a switcher or climb behind the tv.

The S-Video input is totally accessible, though. So I\'ll go with that. I noticed a great improvement with it on Gamecube and expect the same for Wii.

The USB charger, I hope that works, because I\'ve already started going through batteries with remotes. Wii has two USB ports in the rear.

This would also be helpful for my wireless 360 remotes, I believe. I never got the charger for that either, but my buddy swears by it.

I have the NiMH rechargeable batteries. Each pair of batteries last about 5 days of Zelda usage. I also ordered the composite for the Wii. All I need now is a 42" HDTV with 2 HDMI inputs and composite and all that other legacy stuff.

You mean component. The composite cables are the ones that ship with the system.
