cliffies - it kills cancerous cells. But pharmacy companies can\'t profit off of cured people.

Crazy, but part of the reason it has no media coverage is because there has been no actual human testing.  Testing a cultured disc is a lot different than a human patient.  Give it a couple months, hopefully there will be SOMETHING about it circulating.

Hopefully  a pham. company will do more research on it. But since it\'s not patentable, they have to find some way to make a profit.

Yeah...I take that article worth a grain of salt. Look at the source. Its a college newspaper. My college newspaper one time circulated an article about how we were going to war with China soon. I\'m sorry but I don\'t take anything a school newspaper says as a credible source.

it\'s always been a known problem for the future..2 main things that have always been talked about is the cure for aids and cancer. On one hand, theyre horrible diseases, but at the same time companies and a lot of jobs go down the pooper without them always being around. Sounds heartless but that\'s a problem.

but titan\'s right with the legitamacy..

but who knows if it is true. Almost sounds like its going to be another case similar to aids where we find a cure, than the disease evolves to beat the cure, so we make the dosage er a better way to kill "most" of the cancer. (the leftover cells are the strong ones that survive/reproduce)..good ol\' evolution..we usually lose and play catch-up when it comes to serious viruses

There are your sources.  Leave it to a college student to not cite.  Doesn\'t sound as astounding when you read the other articles though.  Sounds like its in its infant stages of development.

much ado over nothing.  Unless they actually TEST it everything about this wonderdrug is useless.  It probably doesn\'t even work.

That\'s the point. If it\'s unpatentable, it\'s not likely to be tested.

I\'d actually prefer a cure to the common cold. I think I\'m just saying this because I just caught another one. I\'m sure my opinion would change if I found out I had cancer ;)

People will always have cancer and people will continue to get aids. So there is still profit, it will help everyone in the long run.

Cancer yes, but AIDs is a virus. I think AIDs will go the route of Small Pox. But cancer is mutation. It can\'t be prevented.

No, HIV is a virus. AIDS is a stage of HIV.
