well i saw gilmour singing the lead on money
and i assumed!

Isn\'t it Waters?
I saw Roger Waters live and he was amazing. Then again, I was pretty fucked up at that concert.
-
Peh, casual fans here. :)
First, it\'s Waters. Roger Waters. Not Walters.
Second, every member of the band has had lead vocals for at least one song except the drummer, Nick Mason. Unless you count the distorted "I\'m going to cut you into little pieces" line from the song One of These Days off of Meddle, which Mason provided the vocal for.
Gilmour and Waters were about 50/50 in singing duties during the golden years. (1971-1983)

I love The Wall. I sing stuff from that album all the time...mostly because my dad played the crap out of Pink Floyd when I was a kid. He also used to play me and my brother Pink Floyd, Uriah Heep, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, etc... songs when we were kids. Good times. :)
-
For their best albums, Syd Barrett was the lead singer.
-
All one and a half of them, Bob? :)
-
Blade got it right. Gilmour was the better singer, and did many of the lead vocals on their most famous songs. However, Waters also provided lead vocals on many songs throughout the band\'s history. Probably because Waters wrote most of the songs. Richard Wright frequently contributed backing vocals.

Echo what bobbo said, though I really like meddle...I just got a freakin\' cool album: "Dub Side of the Moon" done by the Easy Star All-Stars. dub reggae dark side of the moon.
-
All one and a half of them, Bob? :)
Yes.
Piper at the Gates of Dawn is still their best.
That cat\'s something I can\'t explaa-aaiiin!
-
