Koppy\'s grammar + Google search engine would leave him with nothing but "Did you mean....?" all over the page. ;)

ive seen media monkey before, but im not sure how to use it, and it seems that it wants you to use that instead of itunes ( i know most peep say itunes is crap).

i had searched google, but i thought it be better to ask here, where i can get feedback, and maybe some peep have had the same prob.

I\'m pretty happy with itunes or winamp.  Trying to use windows media player makes me want to shove a stick in my eye.

I can just drag and drop music files (either way) on my creative zen and off I go.  This is one of the many reasons why I didn\'t get an ipod.. not knocking people that have them though.. they are nice, for what they are.

I originally did the drag and drop but somehow, my Zen copied the files by itself and put them into folders too. So anything that I dragged and dropped had doubles on my mp3 player. I\'m still trying to erase songs to get rid of the doubles. I think I\'m going to just erase my Zen Micro and start from square one.

yeah, itunes did something similar to me... I had doubles of a bunch of songs and for some reason it stripped out the name of the artist for each track.  The artist\'s names show up fine if I play my music in itunes, but the actual file names in windows explorer or on my zen is the track number and song title.

A minor annoyance... going through about the 200 or so songs that were affected and manually adding the artist again through the id3 tag

Dude, that happened to me on a couple songs too. It says that everything is unknown. But I use Creative\'s software, not iTunes. Does iTunes work with Zen?

my wife just ran my zen micro through the wash

I took it apart and let the parts dry for a few days, I think it\'s dead

:( That\'s unfortunate. Tell her to make it up to you somehow ;)

It\'s not the water that kills it....it\'s the residue and minerals left over after drying. Oh...and the shorting out. :)
